Welcome to the 7th VOTSCC weekly bulletin folks. Not much club news this week what with no CC clash and thankfully no dramas, Quiet week in gereral. You all must be too busy tucking into your Easter eggs you all got off the Easter bunny. One thing that did pop up in the forum that I think is a great idea by Bossman Paul is that he has set up a post that everyones replays can be viewed for everyones enjoyment. The post can be found in the Commonly Used Or Interesting Posts section of the forum. Its the 2nd top post, cant miss it. So all you PC users (unfortunately tablet users cant save replays) get saving those top shots. It also makes my job easier picking the shot of the week so I'm a happy chappie also.

The TWTW6 JT's Cooking On The Bay tournament was won by the man himself with a score of 26. Congratulations Jeff and thanks to the other 12 participants also.

INS AND OUTS-- No ins this week and we lost Ladyfromdallas(again) and Br1an so we are now at 40 members.

ROUND OF THE WEEK-- A day after he was awarded the round of the week in the last bulletin, Jtcooki obviously was that thrilled that he decided to play Lynns Kick Ass Set of the Week tournament again and this time shot a 27, 1 shot better than what he shot that previous week. Now there was a couple other 27s this week but again the fact that Jeff was playing with unfamiliar clubs edges it again this week. Well done Jeff, but you must be a sick man to even attempt to play with those clubs a 2nd time. Lol.

Another good newsletter Martin. I shot a 25 in the bracket tournament best of the famous holes that I think deserves a mention in round of the week. I consider it a perfect round even though there was no hole in one on the par 3. 7 birds and 2 eagles is a perfect round to me. that means you have to hit a perfect drive, perfect approach, and perfect putt on EVERY hole. Not that easy to do. Congrats to Jim on a very nice HIO on a difficult hole at Chambers Bay. I'd say maybes naw because of the spin factor. Some holes you have to spin the ball to land close. I know the answer it question 1 is false. Not sure on the other 2 questions. Congrats to Jeff on his win in his namesake tournament. Another good week of golf, thanks Martin

I'm taking it that 25 in the bracket round isn't the CC Clubs bracket Turd. I saw you shot a 27 in the last one. Is it a WGT BRACKET?. If so I might need to start checking players pages to see the rounds they shoot rather than just the clubs tournaments but that's what this is for anyway. If I miss anything feel free to give me hell. Lol.
Oops, just spotted it Turd. Dont know how i missed that. Ach im sure youll have more rounds of the week where that came from.

I'm a Maybes Aye on the poll question. The reason I put this question on is because over the last few months I've been scoring better with the standard balls. I seem to judge the distances better with them. Yes there is some courses, Bethpage and Olympic come to mind when I have to bring out the purchased balls but as for the rest of the courses standard balls suit me better.

After being admonished last week for not showing up, I'd be remiss for not appearing this week. I love these weekly capsules, Martin. They're a real joy to read.
This is only the 7th issue, but I've become a fan of Hamish McTavish. Can we have more of him? I don't always know what he says, but I like figuring it out.
If one has 15 clubs in their bag, they better have a good reason. I used to carry my Dad's old putter for luck. I never, for once, thought of using it.
The only Zimbabwean I know is Nick Price, so.
Who is John Daly?
Turd is correct. The ability to spin the ball with precision is necessary for best results. Maybe Naw.
I'm heading over to the 19th. Duff is there, and I never turn away an offer of Tennessee Whiskey. Did you know one can't buy a drink in Moore County, where Jack Daniels is distilled.

The bulletin missed you last week Textor. Nobody got the who am I last week. We were waiting on you to give us the correct answer. Hamish McTavish will be around for as long as it takes for all my friends across the pond to learn the Scottish banter. So could be a while. Lol. Didn't know the fact about Moore County. You learn something every day.

This is by far your best yet Martin (a little self serving on my part...lol). The shot of the week, a joke of mine, the band I asked you to include (and the song I love) and a tournament named after me....I'm livin' large!!!
Ok, maybe (DEFINATLY) Naw....I play with starters most of the time....I lose 20 - 30 yards off the tee and the fairways, the swing meter is very fast and the amount of spin is nil...when I play with purchased balls (even the WGT cheapo's) I score a lot better.

Martin, it is the the bracket tournament famous holes the ended on 4/15 for our CC. Check the tournament results

I knew on 14 clubs, so false. Also knew Price, but didn't know Daly. Oh well, I'm getting old.

My mate carries 15 clubs in his bag although 1 is a broken old 7 iron which he gets out now and again and whacks against the nearest tree to vent his frustration. Said he was fed up breaking good clubs so that's why he keeps that in his bag. I've told him great idea but so is going to anger management. Lol.
