If you wanted to look at the Magic Star . You will see that it is in the forum F6 . If you click F6 you wiil see just those 12 forums . Then you can look in each one at all the topics in them .
It's been a while since I expressed some of my objectives for the CC . First of all I like and respect everyone that joins our club . I realize that not everyone knows what a CC is all about . Many have different reasons for joining . I really don't know how many of the other clubs are run . They are all different . What I want to emphasize in our CC is that whatever tier you are . That you feel comfortable here , part of a team of players that come here to find conditions that enable them to improve their game , hone their skills , lower their scores ,lower their averages , move up in tiers . Enjoyably and comfortably with the conditions that challenge them enough to keep that drive without the frustrationsof regular game play . All that is completely possible by either creating those tourneys yourself or by messaging me about it . Or someone else in your tier that has been creating tourneys . Any kind of information that you need to know should be provided here , any kind of appp , calculator , help , tutorial , tournament , statistic , message , opinion , gripe , compliment , etc , etc . Should able to be aqcuired here ( or in our website , as it may be easier there ). With your help , all of this can be done easily . We already have a good start . I am going to be here for a very long time trying to achieve all this . For any of you that think it's a good direction for your CC to go in . Then lets keep on keepin on . Sincerely , Your Co team member PDB1 , Paul ( sitting here on a rare rainy day ) May the SUN always be with you
Re: Where are the Flags ?By Bertasion in Valley of the Sun Casual Club The other day upon the heather fair I hit a flagstick that was not there. I saw it's shadow and heard the clank but where it stood was just a blank. It was not there again today. I wonder when it will come back and stay. Brian

METER PERFORMANCE
WGTadmin21,124 Posts02-26-2015 11:43 AM
This is what happened.
The meter performance is a combination of our code running in the flashplayer on your machine.
We can rewrite/optimize the code which will make the meter better or worse for everyone. But once the code is live, we have no way on a daily or hourly basis, or a per person basis influence the performance of the meter. Once the code is live, all the variations are due to your machine, operating system and flash player. Even on the same machine if you have 3 apps open vs 1, or if you are streaming music, or you have the WGT.com site in the background... these will all affect the meter.
With this last release in response to meter complaints, we made some major changes to the way the game renders which includes the meter (You will see that the frame rate has changed). This investment was made in direct response to people who say we never do anything to make the basic game better.
Unfortunately the changes had a negative affect on certain browser and flash player version combinations. We then worked extra hard to fix those compatibility issues while maintaining the new rendering functions we deployed.
The end result as of 7pm last night is that we have the new rendering and it is now compatible with almost all customers.
Thanks for your patience and I hope things are better for you on WGT.

The meter accelerating (racing) is built into all the clubs on purpose, except the putters which we removed this affect a long time ago. The club's meter speed attribute affects how fast the meter will speed up as it approaches the "ding". So from the moment you let go and start the down swing the meter accelerates as it approaches the "ding" You should not expect the clubs (other than putters) to be a constant speed the whole down swing.
The reason have acceleration is to better simulate the affect of power and "over swinging" on your accuracy to "ding" So the if you consistently only swing 80-90% of the full power you should be more accurate than if you use 100% power all the time. using only 80% power means there is less distance to the ding to accelerate and therefore easier to time.
I hope that helps.
