It's been a while since I expressed some of my objectives for the CC . First of all I like and respect everyone that joins our club . I realize that not everyone knows what a CC is all about . Many have different reasons for joining . I really don't know how many of the other clubs are run . They are all different . What I want to emphasize in our CC is that whatever tier you are . That you feel comfortable here , part of a team of players that come here to find conditions that enable them to improve their game , hone their skills , lower their scores ,lower their averages , move up in tiers . Enjoyably and comfortably with the conditions that challenge them enough to keep that drive without the frustrationsof regular game play . All that is completely possible by either creating those tourneys yourself or by messaging me about it . Or someone else in your tier that has been creating tourneys . Any kind of information that you need to know should be provided here , any kind of appp , calculator , help , tutorial , tournament , statistic , message , opinion , gripe , compliment , etc , etc . Should able to be aqcuired here ( or in our website , as it may be easier there ). With your help , all of this can be done easily . We already have a good start . I am going to be here for a very long time trying to achieve all this . For any of you that think it's a good direction for your CC to go in . Then lets keep on keepin on . Sincerely , Your Co team member PDB1 , Paul ( sitting here on a rare rainy day ) May the SUN always be with you
Re: Where are the Flags ?By Bertasion in Valley of the Sun Casual Club The other day upon the heather fair I hit a flagstick that was not there. I saw it's shadow and heard the clank but where it stood was just a blank. It was not there again today. I wonder when it will come back and stay. Brian

I suppose to continue to build a strong and diverse and interesting CC . The same reasons I had 2 years ago when I started this venture . And had an enormous response of 84 members in 2 weeks time . BOOM !
That didn't work out so well . It turned out that most of them really didn't know or want what was needed to even attempt to create a CC .
It was then that I realized that I gotten into the CC building a little too late in the game .
CC's had been going strong for several years . Hundreds of 250 member CC's had filled up rapidly with anyone and everyone that wanted to be in a CC . And many hundreds that did not want to be in a CC as well .
Many were already failing and falling fast .
So really it was ludacris for me to think there were any good prospects left over .
So what about a list of players not in a CC ?
Nope . Well sort of .
If you go to the Tournament Leader Boards and view all the leaders . There are many listed not belonging to CC's
Nope . Several red flags immediately pop up .
These members are long time players at WGT 4 , 5 ,6 ,7 years . And all they have done is played tournaments . Thousands of them with anywhere from ZERO to 20 at the most friends . 7 years and they have 3 friends . Not very likely any potential to even want to be in a CC . Likely had tried 1 or 2 and found them not to their liking .
So the Tournament Leader Board list with members not belonging to CC's bombed big .
Okay so what's left ?
Randomly inviting members on my friends list or other members friends list even though they already belong to a CC ?
Surely what could be the harm in that ? If some one is happy with where they are . They decline and ask that they not be asked any more .
If some one had curiosities about the inner workings of other CC's ? There is nowhere they can go and read through the advertisements for the other CC's and what they have to offer .
How convenient that a CC has just offered you a looksee .
But NO ! That would be poaching of course . Totally taboo . And against unwritten rules .
So what next ?
There are many many failing CC's with countless lost and inactive members . Look through those ? Nope . If they are inactive there . Theres a good chance they will be inactive anywhere .
How about this . WGT could make a serious effort to provide an icon for members not belonging to a CC . That could be activated by the member at times when they are in the hunt . Showing a green icon when available for recruiting , and showing red if not interested in CC's at all .
So as it stands . Post in the CC Corner in the main Forums is the last hope . A very small hope . As the fact remains that a very small percentage of members ever even visit the main forums , much less use them .
So if a CC were to have a need to recruit or expand . There is no good way to do that .
