GAME COMPLETION

- Game completion is only recorded in multiplayer rounds . Period . Single player rounds are designed with a restart option available , also an end game with no consequence option . That is the whole idea of the single player round with the restart option is to play as many times as you like with out affecting your average or game completion in a negative way (aside from completing with a bad score )( essentially not hypothetically you can or could play until you better your last score and only that score will count ) .
Also another reason WGT leaves you green while playing these so you may have the option of exiting at any time . If for instance you were to get an invite . You accept the invite with no negative consequence whatsoever .
The exception to this is single play rounds . which do forfeit the match . And of course if you do not complete . You wasted a pass . I was only commenting on the raising the average by not resuming a single player match . Which is not correct .
I'm just sayin
If any one doesn't understand this . Please speak up
Now mister " never leave a game " Another very popular format here at WGT is the multiplayer stroke play matches . In these matches game completion is absolutely counted . As is not completed games . And a very big deal for a lot of people . And not so much for the bigger majority of players as there isn't any moral reason or legal reason to worry about it . In fact . WGT already knows this and has made it an option in the game by providing the forfeit button . It is part of the game . It is a game . There are actually millions of legitimate reasons to exit a game , whether it be personal , medical , domestic , occupational , psychological , comical , legal , spousal , fatherial , motherial , child related , irrational , unsportical , embarrassment , fear , even no reason at all . Are all legitimate and viable reasons to exit a game . happens all the time every minute of everyday . No reason to give it another thought . It is OK .
I don't mean to repeat myself but . I'm just sayin
More commonly ( for many , many WGTers ) . In all other types of matches unlimited play single player ( NOT SINGLE PLAY ) very big difference . In the menu WGT provides an option called restart . This option is available in all WGT and CC unlimited play single player rounds . Since game completion is not and never has and never will be a concern in these matches simply not in the format . This restart option means that at any time during that round 1st , 2nd , 3rd , 4th , 5th , 6th , 7th hole, etc , etc you can click that restart button . Restart your round and then play a couple holes click restart again and again and again as many times as you want until you get the score you like . That will be the only round counted or recorded even if you restarted 100 times . The ranked round that you finish with will be the only one counted . No change in your average unless it is lower than your average . Of course if you are saturated nothing will happen if it is over your average . This is why CC's are so good for honing your skills , lowering your average , moving up in tiers . You can control and minimize your unfavorable scores ( with out playing off the red tees ) . Just restart until you get the score you want . Lol blows you away what I am saying if you didn't know this or never thought of it that way . There is no forfeit or WD in these games and are what a majority of members spend their time in . Hope that makes my point on this matter very clear . JimQ916

Very, very good point Paul. I have on my page that "I will finish all rounds" but I put that there before I was in this CC.....lot's to do here. I do need to change that to "hard to complete a round".....I really have dropped the ball by not playing multi player Tournaments in the past few months but will definitely figure out a way to allow me to finish a round (Granddaughter issue) but it would only be about a 50 - 50 chance of me finishing. One question I do have is that if I do play a match against anyone and had to drop out would my opponent get screwed out of there score even if they finish their round alone after I had to forfiet? Let me know...thanks,,,,,,,,,,,Jimpdb1

All I know, is that when using the club pass, that usually tends to be the round that I would like to restart, but I don't since I want to help boost the club's XP. The safest way to use the daily bonus with a club pass, is to not play a ranked round, that way you can complete it without affecting your average and the club benefits from your daily xp bonus.

That damn pass . Lol . You had to mention that . First time this page . Yes Ber3n it is ironic that free pass round is the one you want to restart .It happens to all of us . If it is that bad of a round . I will restart buy a pass for $ .37 cents to play the pass round complete , maximum points . Get that one over with . Get back to the more important rounds that help with your average , tier , and level . Please don't sweat those damn passes too much . If you are able to get the points once or twice a day then good if you don't Oh well . When you use a pass or buy a pass . It recharges with a 12 hour cycle .

It is not likely that you can time the passes to reup twice in a day . Possible but not likely . Once you have played 5 days straight your CDP ( consecutive days played ) is 880 points everyday day . That alone is plenty . The much smaller points for various events . that you might not get all of add up to only 100 or 200 more . Without the 880 cdp max pass is 200 , 300 at best . What I am suggesting is to try and play that one round daily with the 880 cdp . That is if you are going to worry about your points .1 XP per shot (added immediately to both accounts) 4 or 5 XPs respectively per CTTH / Blitz game 30 XPs per random practice (three holes) 95 XPs per 9 holes round 190 XPs per 9 holes tournament 200 XPs per 18 holes round 400 XPs per 18 holes tournament various XPs for MP games up to 880 XPs per day (CDP bonus)
I was reading this guys forum post . He has it down . He claims he was able to optimize his points and earn 4068 in an hour and a half . This is his chart . And his words- ThreeSpot:
Below is the table of experience points I received during the test. I played the first 69 strokes of the first St A monthly yesterday. I did get the XP boost for the CDP and round bonus on that round, but did not get the boost for the strokes played before I purchased the boost.
As noted above by ColinRobertson, you do get XP boost for the entire round if the round is started before the boost expires. I started the last round ~1 minute before expiration and received the boost points for the entire round.
So, not counting the 69 strokes from yesterday, I got 3,999 experience points in about 1 hr 40 min of play by:- Timing the rounds to get 2 CDP bonuses while the boost was active
- Activating the boost during the tail end of a saved round
- Starting the last round just before the boost expired
As I stated in my original post, I am not advocating, suggesting or even slightly intimating that this is something other players might want to do, I just wanted to know how it works and what is possible with a 1 hour boost. - Timing the rounds to get 2 CDP bonuses while the boost was active
-
Paul
Please enjoy
