I do delete each of those .

I also take responsibility for everything I post . However , early on like this one in 2016 . I was even more susceptible and ignorant to the trolling and baiting . Aware but very easily baited . Not apologizing . As I never even then stooped to the depths of the pro's . This thread goes all over the place . I am not even involved in the last 10 pages . But am fully blamed for everything in this thread .

This thread was started by me . With the sole intent to take the distracting banter away from the Let's Be Honest thread . To save Rich's thread from impending doom . Also in some way it appears as though I am mocking Henry . That may be to a small degree , harmlessly . Henry and I are good . And always have been . I have created other threads with the same intent to dissuade the negativity away from Let's Be Honest .
In no way do I approve or condone hate , flame baiting , degrading , insulting , discrediting . Any person anywhere anytime . In these forums or anywhere .

Hi Lee...your posted ended up duplicated for some reason...lol.
I have edited this post to reflect that Henry and I are now on cordial terms. Other than a response or two from him (which remain unedited), he has wisely stayed out of the fray,.. I should have done the same. Live and learn, I guess.

Hi CT. First of all I want to say, even though you have blasted me over the years more than anyone (fellow Canadian ?), you are still a Canadian and I love all Canadians.
Secondly, you keep saying that my comments are juvenile nonsense, bla bla bla... However, I have never been given an example of what I have ever said that is so TERRIBLE in your eyes. I am always polite and I never use profane language. I always treat people with the utmost respect. So again I ask you > WHAT HAVE I EVER SAID THAT IS SO TERRIBLE?

If you are referring to me . Have you read my posts ? I do not think I come across in any hateful manner . Sarcastic , parodic , humorous , off beat , sick , tasteless . But I am not a hater . I do a lot not to promote it .
There are many many instances in these forums over the last couple few years . Where I was hated on . I kept my chin up and responded with humor and sarcasm . Try to stay mature .
On the other hand . There have been some classic instances in which I have witnessed severe beat downs from some of the GR8's here. That ultimately lead to the victims departure from WGT.
I am always trying to leave a door open to friendship ( WGT style ) . That has occurred in most cases . IMO .

Yes, ct. I think ignoring those who say bad things about you is better than making up stories and criticizing them when you know nothing. So, I totally agree with you on that. There are some people here who talk before their brains kick in. Also forgiveness is the best virtue a person can have. Thank you everyone. I appreciate all the nice comments. Robert, you should have a friend invite. My next goal is 5000. Although I will also put more effort into making some friends around home, including my wife. That is a message from one of my new WGT friends, that I have taken to heart. Good advise my friend.

Henry claims to be a 37 yr police veteran...so I don't think "naive" is a word that applies here. Further, he is the first to admit he purposely stirs the chit with his posts, but Henry can also take the push back. I think he actually enjoys the resulting theatre he creates. Henry simply is who he is.
But, this thread (like soooo many others) seems to bring anger and personal animosity out in people. This thread now has very little to do with Henry. It has become about the reasons it was started, about "trolls" never answering questions, even about third parties being referenced (in this case, Alosso).

Hi Paul..all good, my friend..but to clarify a few things:
1. No where in my post did I say that I'm not as guilty as some others re: veering a thread off track, or stating things that some might deem as controversial. Unlike Henry, I certainly don't do it simply to stir the pot... I am well aware of the posts I've written, as well as why I have written them.
2. I will leave any history that you and Alosso have between you two...I like and respect both of you, and neither of you need my help in defending yourselves.
3. I never stated, nor implied, that your responses were not clear and calmly posed. I try to do the same when I am challenged, but often that approach just angers a few people who had nothing to do with the thread previous to that...(read my back and forth with SteveW in the lets be honest thread...it's a good example)
4. You are absolutely entitled to your opinion, just like everyone else. There is also nothing wrong, or sinister about reading and posting in this forum...that's what it was designed for, no? (I don't understand why a term like troll is even used)
5. Whether I agree with everything that is written is not the point. I usually learn something, and always enjoy reading the posts and contributing to any subsequent debate.

Hey, no worries. It's no big deal. But I thought you should know I understand the word.

The reality is that sometimes, I get things right; other times, not so much. Regardless, most of what we worry about (at least on here) doesn't matter all that much. And I try to remember the words of the great philosopher (Dirty Harry): A man has got to know his limitations.

My limitations are many and varied.

This is my first re-visit to the site and this thread since posting that last night and then playing a few RGs afterwards. That was about 27 hours ago as of this writing. I'm not on the forum multiple times a day. I play my late evening rounds, maybe hit the forum once and that's it. Here I am again a day later.
No, I did not come up with that. That paragraph can be easily found on Google, and there a few versions of it littered about. I thought that would be fairly obvious given how easy it is to simply do a search on a group of words. This particular version came from reddit, with no editing from me in some lame attempt to pass it off as my own. The fact that the text itself is a bit of a jumbled, run-on mess is also quite contrary to my writing style. The only credit I deserve is applying it in an appropriate context with regards to this thread.
It is disappointing that wall posts exist dedicated exclusively to whether or not I would "own up" to not writing it myself. Do you guys create yourselves the cat memes or animated GIFs that you post? Did everyone take their profile pictures with their own personal cameras? Did the people without a photo draw their profile picture themselves on their PCs? Does anyone assume YankeeJim owns the Yankee logo?
Lighten up, guys. This is the internet. Nothing is original. Have a laugh as intended, enjoy it for what it is (or don't), and chive on.
Fortunately, in this case, originality was not an absolute requirement for levity.

It's been interneting to see all of the twits and turns this post has taken. It started with name crawling and finger painting and people fighting amonsgt thems elves. Then, in evitably, we had pee pull correcting other peoples granma and choice of words. It became a pissing contessa. Severed people, including mice elf, tried to change the erection it was heading by poking fun at each other. For me, it started when Bags was, for some reason, spending time "in tents with perverts". Now, to each is home, but, I didn't mock his sexual orientals. Furbee it for me to pass wind judgment on someone from San Francisco. Fast four words a bit and then came the epic post from PhiEag. Now he got the hole point. But still, people wondered weather it was an orign null post. Irregardless, and I'm no English Leftenant ether, butwats the difference. It perverted the attention away from those hooch owes to purse cyst with the black stabbing and I Gao Zhing. In clothing, I would just wanton remind everyone, that the penis my tier than thus ord. Good luck finding who created that, given how much it's been passed around the internet. Kudos as well on creating rules to fit your personal narrative. What's also customary is simply asking if that was an original, instead of making a lazy assumption and then manufacturing drama from it. Ignorance of the internet's humors and basic communications failures are not my problem.

First, no one is "making something out of nothing." It's a discussion. Second, the point is that it's customary to give attribution on something like that. If the piece is not original to them, that's on them to note it or address it.

I'm just pointing out what the norm is. If you don't want follow the norm, that's fine. But you shouldn't be surprised by the pushback. Still, very impressive deflection on your part. Not only are you very busy, but others need to lighten up. Seriously, that is nicely done.

No one has condemned your character. I stated it was bad form, and others wondered if you would "own up." But no one has suggested that you lack character. I seriously doubt that anyone on here believes that something like this is a reliable or valid indication of anyone's character.

Earlier in this thread, I was schooled in the use of quantifying statements. And I acknowledged that. But the fact that I wasn't aware of the term does not indicate me to be an uneducated individual.

I apologize for giving you the sense that your character was being challenged or condemned. That was not my intention. Indeed, if I thought you were someone lacking in character, I would have never taken the time to respond to your posts. With people who truly lack character, that is time not well spent.

This whole thing could have been avoided by simply placing the post in quotation marks...by not doing so, and by further assuming the general reader was, or should have been, aware of it's existence (I was not), led to this push back. It will blow over, like everything does, but maybe a good lesson for everybody who posts. If they aren't your words, throw them in quotation marks...
I have seen many posts from you PEF...you are clearly a bright and articulate individual. I personally don't think this damages your character or credibility. It was just a mistake..like we all make from time to time.

But that is not the criteria that determines this groups victims . There are very few that are immune to their attacks .

I don't think it was an intentional lie or attempt at trolling; I think he just remembered incorrectly. In a thread with multiple authors, it's easy to forget who said what. At least for me, it's easy to forget.

Not the damn cigarettes , patches didn't do a thing , vaping almost seemed like the ticket at first . Lost interest in that and still smoking . Haven't figured that one out yet .

I started enjoying a few pints, maybe twice a month, but now any alcohol at all gives me an immediate headache, total bummer.

Studies have shown that quitting cigarettes is as difficult as cocaine...the main reason it's so difficult to quit is because, unlike almost any other drug, including alcohol, we smoke cigarettes much more regularly and at any time throughout the day. Plus, a large part of our social lives revolve around smoking...when I initially quit, I was advised to avoid all the coffee shops, bars, restaurants, etc., that I frequented, as they would act as triggers.
After several attempts (which is normal), I finally found the answer in nicorette gum. I'm addicted to that stuff now (lol), but there is apparently no health risk associated with the gum.
Ways for people to quit smoking is its own cottage industry these days...gum, patches, lozenges, prescription drugs, hypnosis, acupuncture, laser treatment, ...seemingly endless.
regardless...whatever works.

True Bubbs, Freud may have the answer (though very few would understand it). After the last several pages of character assassination, accusations, finger pointing and vitriol, I think how to quit smoking is something we can all agree on. It's a very bad lifestyle habit and several posts have provided ways to quit...this is a very timely derailment, in my opinion.

But there is many many other drugs that grip and rip the lives of many . Most cocaine addicts survive somehow and move on . Stay out of the cemetaries for much longer .

I wonder where you copied these 2 quotes from. Cause after searching these 2 names, Suzieq is a L1 hack, who joined in 2007 and never hit a single ball, while BrendaB is a L10 amateur, who joined in 2009 and hasn't done anything on this site for long enough, to have "her" score history blanked.

,Just spotted this nonsense, lmao. "Brenda" seems to not know that Tour Champion tier was introduced in August 2015, while our beloved best player has been around since 2012. Btw, the only TC tier player until now is Icon.
Edit: I stand corrected by CT below. Players search only threw out Icon, I'm guessing Leo's account was closed. Good thing you guys did there, tiers should reflect character as well and Leo certainly deserved this.

Small correction here. "Phiber" (Leo) passed away from Cancer in December 2015. His CC (mine also) recommended that he be made a Tour Champion posthumously, and WGT kindly agreed.
So, it seems to make TC tier, you either have to be a Mod or die...either price is too high for my tastes.

If you are not familiar with Sybil decease it is actually Shirley Mason who was diagnosed with 16 different personalities. SIXTEEN. Henry's at about 4 right now.

Nevertheless, you seem to make a lot of basic mistakes in writing (mostly mistakes in word choice), suggesting that English is not your first language.

But hey, if it makes you feel better, I'm sure you could beat me up! Even though I'm tall at 6' 2", I only weigh about 178. And I have no training at all in any martial arts or the like. Even so, I used to watch a lot of Chuck Norris. :-)

Sorry Robert. Don't get me wrong. There is absolutely nothing wrong with driving bus. My father drove school bus for many years. I had to be on my best behavior when I was bused to school as a kid because I would get "it" at home if I was not.
ALSO, after 35 years on the police force, I am thinking of retiring and doing something else part time (otherwise all I will do is sit at home and play WGT all day long. lol). There were some comments made on this thread about my appearance. Let me explain please! Early in my career, as a first responder on scene, I went into a burning house to attempt a rescue. When the fire department arrived they pulled me out, unconscious. I woke up in hospital with major burns all over my body and face. In those days, there was less reconstruction than they do now. I first used the face paint kind of as a joke. It kind of stuck with me and actually after years became sort of a 'trade mark' of mine. Locally my face is well known and respected with the citizens of the Ontario city. After many operations, my face is a lot better than it was, but still not perfect. I look a lot older today than the picture.
I've been away a lot lately, so have not kept up with all the Forum talk, but I do appreciate all my friends on WGT.

I have no control over what other people write. Some of what others have said are factually "not 100% accurate". So if they say tour champion in the spirit of exaggeration, and the level they really meant was tour legend, that's on them. As far as some people who commented are not dedicated users of WGT, again I can't control that. Some of those posts are old. 1. Hope yo are feeling better;
2. Both nostrils wide a real deep throat pull centralises snot I find. I have found that, with practice, I can propel that 4 yards. Good deep chest flexing flob, and not saying every time but often enough.
Moved to Sydney, from London, about 16 years ago and not had a good enough old fashioned flu to really test again, but that's my claim to fame:)

Lets add the most important part of this Colin - I dont look, notice, peak and most importantly NEVER reply to any of yankme's nonsense scribble. BUT he has to "sarcastically" reply to a misspelled word of mine, so OBVIOUSLY he trolls my post and couldn't WAIT for one little slip up by one of my post to do ONE THING - start trouble, just as he has with soooooo many other people who come into this forum. He is a down right monitor tough guy trouble maker ,PERIOD.

Sometimes you get submerged by emotion. I think it's very important to express it - which doesn't necessarily mean hitting someone.
I am searching for abstract ways of expressing reality, abstract forms that will enlighten my own mystery.

Hello Folks. Its another wonderful day in Canada. I woke up this morning which makes this day special LOL. Lying in bed before rising for work, I decided I am going to do something nice for someone today. MORE THAN NICE - EXTRAORDINARY. I don't know what that will be yet but it will make someones day a better day. Maybe someone who needs cheering up.
I invite all my WGT friends to "do something extraordinary for someone today'. At the end of the day, let us know what you did.

Think about it. I have never seen a thread go on and on in so many different directions all over WHAT? NOTHING. This thread brought out the worse in people (including myself) that is all this thread did. Nothing more nothing less.
I have to agree with bubbs - it is loooooong over due for this thread to be deleted. I am VERY surprised it has continued as long as it has.

Yeah, i seem to remember a thread a few months back that lost track and it was really bad regarding homophobic remarks back and forwards from a few folk
This has gone crazy again the last few pages.
I myself can side track, ooooo thats a nice shirt that gentleman is wearing, opps there i go again, see.
