97° HIGHEST LOW EVER RECORDED
Today has surpasssed that at 97°.
Only have about 1 hours worth of work on a roof this morning . The rest is inside . Air conditioned .
Florida has had more days on record with lows of 97° .
As I found out when living in Houston for a year . Humid heat is miserable too . When I was there they were having a heatwave . 95 ° to 110 ° with 99 to 100% humidity everyday . It was so hot . Not as hot as I am used to though . Houston is above Galveston Bay . One of the largest ship harbors in the world . And deep in the Gulf of Mexico . There are not many more humid areas .
Humidity is a wet and annoying heat . Where one rarely dries off . Even after a shower . I didn't like it .
But our " not dry heat " . But yes it is dryer . Is a baking heat that penetrates . It is so unbearable . All parts of the body muscles , skin , head , hair , nerves , feat can feel it always when your out in it .
For me , and most . This southwestern Sonoran desert heat is Too hot to handle . Hotter than HELL .
