Good morning! I realized September is half-over already and I am due an update. 0.0
Mostly this month, I've had to focus on job hunting, something I haven't done in quite a while since I stayed in my last position a long time. It's been educational. And head-whirling. *_*
As for how the full-time hunt is going, oh, I think I'm up to 15 or 20 rejections, one bait-and-switch interview, and one identity-theft scam attempt (not looking for remote work anymore, and LinkedIn is a cesspool). Really grateful a good friend I was talking to saw the signs and had my back. Be careful out there, peeps.
This week, I also interviewed in person for 2 local jobs which I'm hoping to hear back from. One I'd prefer over the other but would take the second-choice if the first doesn't pan out. Sadly, probably won't hear back on those until sometime next week, so working on writing stuff and resting.
Ironically, working on SS10 became a strong solace in the rat race, and I have completed 2 more chapters, around 30 pages. Working on Chapter 14 now, and it's going well. With 2 weeks left to go, I will indeed have more early reading for the opt-in crowd, even if it might not reach the length of the August release.
Meanwhile, I finally uploaded the Surfacing Dramatic Reading I shared in August onto YouTube, both as:
The Complete 20-minute Production I shared on Patreon first,
and also:
as a 4-part Playlist on YouTube
These aren't public at this time, as I am hoping to improve the playlist a little bit, but another step closer. But I shared this with my newsletter and my patrons to start.
I also figured out how to share with people a 12-second sample. ^_^ Check it out on this post!
Wish me luck for this coming week, that I receive some good news about a job.
I'll be back. Take care, all! ~Etaski
