If you don’t know the definition of “epistle,” the definition of “epistolographer” won’t get you very far. Quite simply, an epistle is a letter — or a literary work composed in the form of a letter or series of letters. Perhaps most notably, 21 of the 27 books in the New Testament of the Bible are epistles, and most of them were written by the Apostle Paul. Therefore, Paul is the most prolific epistolographer of the New Testament.
