Did you grow up in the 90s? If so do you want to go down nostalgia lane? Here you will see some of the most recognizable items that were sold during the 90s such as the Nintendo 64, Pokemon, and much more that will spark your memories from the past. The 90s was full of fun and exciting toys and products that you just wouldn't find nowadays. Anyone that grew up during those times remembers that there wasn't that much technology and it was the weird period when the internet was introduced to us so the products being released were a bit wacky.

There are many items on this list that you will remember from just seeing it and bring you back to those weird commercials from tv. There was a certain style in the 90s that is completely recognizable as well that you will find on this list. If you are interested in seeing these objects from the 90s and want to test your memory to see if you recognize any of them, then you should check out these next couple of slides that will take you down memory lane.

Gameboy Color

This 90s product is probably one of the best on this list as the Gameboy Color made gaming mobile and affordable. Of course, before the Gameboy Color, there was the original Gameboy which came out in 1989. The big difference between the two was color and faster processing power and if you were a kid in the late 90s then you probably had one of these that came with Pokemon Red or Blue.

The Gameboy Color was more comfortable than the original one as it was slimmer and it also had more battery life. Many of the games that were released on this platform have been favorites among kids that grew up in the 90s.

Etch A Sketch

Almost every household had one of these in the 90s, the Magic Screen Etch A Sketch was a cheap interactive toy that could keep you busy for hours. Although these were made in the 1960s they became extremely popular during the 90s as people started making masterpieces with them.

Any girl growing up in the 90s surely remembers Polly Pocket figures as these were some of the best little toys for girls to have. These toys were so little that you could fit some of the sets in your pocket, hence the name. Each one of these sets would contain a different house or landscape making them unique.

Created in the United Kingdom, these have been a part of little girls' life ever since 1989 and these products are still being sold today with as much popularity as they started out with. The original ones have become quite collectible and sell for a considerable amount.

Yak Bak

Yak Bak was another electronic voice recorder that you could manipulate your voice. It was released in 1994 and was a lot more affordable than its competitor, the Talkboy, which is why the Yak Bak had so much success. It was more compact and easier to use than the Talkboy and many devices like these were made during the 90s as people had an obsession with changing their voice.

After the 90s these types of devices would disappear as people started using voice recorders on their computers and phones that let you manipulate your voice and edit the audio in a way you never could.

Moon Shoes

When you think back on 90s commercials that were advertising kids' toys, you will surely remember these Moon Shoes which were part of everyone's Christmas wish list. The commercial for these shoes was the best and is what drew all of the kids to want these. With the Moon Shoes, you were able to jump extremely high as they worked like a trampoline.

These shoes were very fun but were dangerous as well, whoever was in them had to watch out and not break anything around the house.

Sky Dancers

Based on the animated show, Sky Dancers was a very popular toy as well as a tv show. The 90s was full of advertising a product with a tv show that was coming out so Sky Dancers tried it and it was a complete success. The first year that they were released was a great year as they were hard to find and amazingly they are still sold today in certain batches.

They have even released a Captain America version of the toy for younger boys to enjoy. For being such a simple idea it is amazing how much money it has actually made.

Tamagotchis

Tamagotchis were little handheld devices that tracked the progress of hatching and taking care of a creature. Tamagotchis were released in 1996 and were one of those fads that lasted the rest of the decade. These were very popular because they were cheap and easy to carry around whenever you were bored you could take out your Tamagotchi and tend to your digital pet.

There were various types of games such as these that all the kids in the 90s were addicted to. Without the Tamagotchis, the 90s would have been a little more boring as these guys were a big part of the 90s.

Lite-Brite

If you are a kid of the 90s then you surely remember owning a Lite-Brite, if you didn't then you surely missed out. These creative boards would let you create whatever image you wanted with the colored pegs and once you were complete you could switch on the light to see your creation all lit up.

Tiger Electronics Handheld Games

Tiger Electronics Handheld Games were simple arcade-style games that were produced in many different styles and were one of the best ways to pass time before the Gameboy was available for everyone. The reason why these were so accessible was that they were cheap and you didn't have to have a fancy gaming system to play.

These were perfect for long car rides or traveling in general and many kids during the 90s would bring these to school whenever they had some downtime. People today try to collect all of these handhelds that were released in the 90s for a nostalgia boost.

Crossfire

Crossfire: The Rapid FireShoot-out Game was an addictively fun board game that was popular during the 90s. Two people would face each other by shooting pucks at each other and trying to score a goal. Anyone who had these games on the street was constantly challenged and if you couldn't afford to own an air-hockey ring this was the perfect alternative.

Nickelodeon Alarm Clock

This alarm clock was probably sitting on your dresser as a kid if you were into Nickelodeon in the 90s. The Nickelodeon Alarm Clock was something that almost every kid had in their room and it was so unique looking that you would not forget it. Nickelodeon was smart enough to release this alarm clock, which sold millions, far more than they thought they would. The clock allowed you to check the time and set an alarm that sounded like the Nickelodeon alarm.

These Magic Plasma Balls come in different colors and once you touch them, you can interact with the plasma. These are still something that fascinates anyone that has the chance to play around with them. The nice thing about the 90s was that the products were getting a little more advanced with still having the creativeness behind them.

Nerf Vortex Mega Howler

The Nerf Vortex Mega Howler was one of those weird footballs that you owned while you were younger during the 90s. These were so much fun to play with as they made a weird howling noise that was distinct. Nerf was making a lot of products during the 90s that are quite iconic, this one stands out as totally 90s because there was one in every neighborhood.
