So... I've heard in Indie circles that Amazon sometimes prints several copies of a book based on anticipated sales, then after a certain time discounts them dirt cheap to move them. The author still gets the same royalty paid as when it's full price.
That's what I'd heard.
Well, I have an example of that: right now, Books 5 and 6 are dirt cheap. Someone took them up on it and bought 1 of each the other day, and I was indeed paid the royalty expected. Whew! ^_^
So given that I don't get to pick which books are on sale like this, and I don't know how many will be this price before it returns to normal, I thought I'd post here to let folks know in case you were eyeing these titles anyway, now's the time! :D
