Owner’s Objectives

It's been a while since I expressed some of my objectives for the CC . First of all I like and respect everyone that joins our club . I realize that not everyone knows what a CC is all about . Many have different reasons for joining . I really don't know how many of the other clubs are run . They are all different . What I want to emphasize in our CC is that whatever tier you are . That you feel comfortable here , part of a team of players that come here to find conditions that enable them to improve their game , hone their skills , lower their scores ,lower their averages , move up in tiers . Enjoyably and comfortably with the conditions that challenge them enough to keep that drive without the frustrationsof regular game play . All that is completely possible by either creating those tourneys yourself or by messaging me about it . Or someone else in your tier that has been creating tourneys . Any kind of information that you need to know should be provided here , any kind of appp , calculator , help , tutorial , tournament , statistic , message , opinion , gripe , compliment , etc , etc . Should able to be aqcuired here ( or in our website , as it may be easier there ). With your help , all of this can be done easily . We already have a good start . I am going to be here for a very long time trying to achieve all this . For any of you that think it's a good direction for your CC to go in . Then lets keep on keepin on . THERE ONCE WAS A MAN NAMED HARRY . WITHOUT WHOM , NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE EVER HAPPENED

  During my 1st couple years coming up in WGT . I played a lot of CREATE A GAME & JOIN A GAME . Multiplayer Match & Stroke .

  Meeting a lot of what I now call " TRAILBLAZERS " .These were seasoned veterans from all corners of the world . Offering advice and stories , humor and good times . There were many of them .

  One of them was a TL named

  We played a lot of match games . He was an incredible player .

  He told me about his website

  I went there and what I saw was what I thought was magic . And the coolest thing I ever had seen . There were chipmunks running , crawling , jumping all over the place . Playing golf , up in trees .

  There were links to matches and tutorials , competitions . And a chat room .

  I met Harry in the chat room on a regular basis and we played many a match .

  Harry started to tell me he wasn't happy with the now seemingly lack of interest in his creation . He was a little put off by it .
 
  Sometime later he told me that he planned on leaving WGT . WHAT ? He said he had had enough BS . I didn't know what to say . I said " Are you sure ? I mean that's a big decision . " He said " Fuck them all " .

  Then he said something that stunned me . He said . " Do you want to take over my website ? " . WHAT ? " . He said " Yep , if you don't it will just go to waste . I will have to transfer ownership to you and you will become the new Founder ."

  I didn't know jack shit about the internet , websites , HTML , javascript , BBCode , CSS codes . Or anything . But I said " Hells yes . "

  So the process began . I finally became the Founder . Then BAM ! I created The ValleyoftheSunCasualClubCC.com website . The CC was about a year and a half old then . In 2013 .

  I upended everything . A complete transformation and makeover . It actually took me years . I had big plans . All kinds of tournaments , challenges , brackets , ladders , competitions , Opens , Tours . Seriously an endless vision of just everything above and beyond what we could already do in WGT .

  So it began .......................




  This began a very long and comical and happy and interesting friendship .

  Harry soon returned to WGT as

Harryskunk

  Having deleted his harrymunk account . Starting from scratch . He then joined VOTSCC and quickly tiered up to TL again .

He also brought new competitions and formats to VOTSCC . And was a GR8 motivator .

  As usual he got bored with the slowness of VOTSCC's growth .

  As my memory fails me . I am not clear of the timelines of when he quit WGT each time . Coming back and starting anew .

  Each time reaching TL and finally Champion ( once it was created ) . Always much faster than we see these days . As he was that damn good . I can recollect 4 times he did the full ride .

  Again I am not clear on the timeline of his returns and CC's he joined and started . But he was always in a friends CC and they also thoroughly enjoyed and treasured his time with them .

  Harry has left the CC .
  Harry is very tempermental . Since I have known him he had run 4 different 250 member CC's .Then deleted his account 3 times . Came back with a new identity each time started over completely and worked his way back to Tour Legend , Now Champion . Since that last time he has been in 5 CC 's . 
  This has caused a little unrest over there . They will get through it . Kevin is looking for a replacement .

 looks like I picked the right man for the job then . 
 
  In other BMR news 
  Harry has left the CC .
  Harry is very tempermental . Since I have known him he had run 4 different 250 member CC's .Then deleted his account 3 times . Came back with a new identity each time started over completely and worked his way back to Tour Legend , Now Champion . Since that last time he has been in 5 CC 's . 
  This has caused a little unrest over there . They will get through it . Kevin is looking for a replacement .
