This past Thursday, former Vice President Mike Pence testified before the grand jury looking into Donald Trump’s plot to remain in power despite losing the 2020 election.

Look, the American people have been subjected to candidate / president / authoritarian wannabe / national disgrace Donald Trump for 7 years now.

It is exasperating, infuriating, depressing, and downright exhausting to talk about Trump. Or Pence.

I understand the urge to move on.

But here’s the thing:

Donald Trump must not be let off the hook just because we’re tired of seeing his unpleasant visage and hearing his unhinged blather — even if it’s perfectly reasonable to be tired of those things.

For the sake of our democracy and the rule of law, Donald Trump MUST be held accountable for his attempt to remain in power illegally after losing the 2020 election.

Tell officials at the U.S. Department of Justice, including Attorney General Merrick Garland and Special Counsel Jack Smith:

Hopefully the fact that Mike Pence at last testified before the grand jury is a sign that your investigation into Donald Trump’s attempted coup is in the home stretch. The American people are still committed to seeing Trump charged and prosecuted for any crimes he committed in his effort to remain in power despite losing the 2020 election.
