These threads are all still active in the WGT.com/forums . Of course you nor anyone can see them .

As in their always infinite wisdom . WGT Moderation has locked them all from public view .

Evidently my endless positivity got to be too much for the Moderators and their good friends the flame baiting trolls .

They worked together to set me up for failure . Claiming me to have allegedly violated their terms a couple times . Therefore it was necessary to completely ban me from the WGT.com/forums for life .

Even if it were true that I had violated their terms . Which I had not . None of the flame baiters and trolls dozens and hundreds of blatant over the top violations have ever been in question .

There is nothing that can be done about such abuses of power . They have no one to answer to .

This is very real and a very sad state of affairs . And has existed for al, 16 years of WGT's existence .

The below is a copy of VOTSCC's main thread in Country Club Corner .

- We are still looking for players . Right now with 28 members . 28 very good members . We still need more members of different interests to continue with some of our formats .
  Good members do not have all the same interests . They do not have to like or even participate in every thing we present .
  For instance . We have 13 on Team VOTSCC INTERPLAY . That is fine . But the recommended default amount is 16 .
  
  Current event :CLASH IN SESSION
  We have 6 players playing our Daily BLITZ . Which takes us through the 25 courses 1 a day M - F for 5 weeks per season . We are in our 13th season . 65 consecutive weeks .

  We also have a VOTSCC SKILLS CTTH challenge . These are not daily but run 72 hours . There are 35 CTTH courses .
  VOTSCC SKILLS SERIES SINGLE ROUND CTTH CHAMPS
  We have 4 in CC Match play and Stroke play challenges . Members challenge the title holder . The winner is the champ and sports the title on their wall until they are challenged and beat .
  
  We also have embedded live Brackets from Challonge in our website . That play live with a chat box right below the bracket so you don't have to go anywhere else except to WGT to invite and play your round .

  We also have very cool CC tourneys and brackets . And many more . Obviously some will be drawn to different events . We just need more players til fill these GR8 events and keep them alive . Nothing is mandatory or required . But silence is not acceptable .
  The possibilities are endless . Everyone is equal in our CC . Input and ideas are encouraged and any opinion on anything in any direction is heard and respected .
  A few more here and a few more there is all we are looking for . There is quite a lot to keep ones interest .

The first link is our WGT CC . We are an all tiers CC . Fun place to hone your skills , lower your average and tier up . We have awards , trophies , prizes etc. We are a young club not without the struggles involved in building a strong club . We have a good foundation at this point .

The second link is our Open Forum . Complete with a great chat room , information , tutorials , links to other pertinent sites , forums , open discussions ,Hole in One Hall of Fame , Best of replays user statstics and much more .

Our Open Forum is open to all interested people . One does not have to be a member of our WGT CC to register there . In fact , one can belong to another CC and register there . This comes in handy in many ways .For instance , you can be playing a match in WGT and carry on a conversation with someone else at the same time in our chat room , or say you had a good round with someone you just met . Within a couple of minutes you both or more could meet at our chat , continue your conversation and schedule future match ups and meetings . Just like that .

I have many more plans for this forum like , it will be the check in chat room for our up and coming challonge tournaments . It is ideal for this and many other features that this outstanding forum has to offer.

1) Participate in CC tourneys
2) Communicate with the owner enough to know you are human
3) Register in our website / forum

Hi . Paul here . Hope you are having a gr8 2015 . Please read through these threads . There are a couple links throughout . I invite you to take a look . Many improvements . For 2015 and more to come .
Before I go on . I have created a page in our website that I have embedded the Saturday and Sunday brackets in . With the chat right in between them .
These brackets run in real time . Which means when you look at them they are exactly current with the tournament . ( clarify real time once the tournament has started all the way through until after the finals and it has ended and the final results are posted ). So we are able to be right there in the chat and look right at the bracket and know where it stands .
So you can view in real time the progress of the brackets , the courses , the conditions , your opponents , the other match ups . right there in front of you . No going back and forth from the bracket to the chat . No more waiting for the host to tell you your match up , the course , etc , No more waiting until the host returns to the chat and have to wait for him to type in all of the individual instructions .
You now can figure it out , most of it , yourself . The host , admin , me still has to start and stop each round and post all final scores .When the tourney starts . The two opponents then know who they are ( the bracket changes right before your eyes ) . They then decide who sets and invites . One of them goes to WGT and sets and invites and the other one goes to the WGT game client lobby and waits for the invite . But the clarity , the efficiency , the convenience of this is incredible .
I am amazed . I had never even heard of anything like it until I created it here . I am sure It happens all over the place .In other sports too besides WGT golf . All I saw was something that said embed your brackets in your website . That even took me a while to figure out .

Current events include :
Saturday Matchplay in the SUN via " challonge " . Every Saturday .
Sunday Sunstroke via " challonge " . Every Sunday .
Game times are usually the same Sat & Sun . Usually 2:00 PM PST = 3:00 PM MST = 5:00 PM EST = 7:00 PM UK . Check in both @ " challonge " and @ "votscc " begin 1 hour prior .
Matches Feb 7 & 8 will begin at 12:00 PM MST = 7:00 PM UK to make a reasonable time for our UK friends . Back to regular times following that weekend .
Both events require registration @ " challonge " (free ) .http://challonge.com/
Registration @ http://valleyofthesun.forumotion.co.uk/ . Used as the pre game check in prior to matches .
And as I have created a web page with the real time brackets running in front of you . The chat room is also there with every one to view the match ups , courses , and for each opponent to communicate with each other once the tournament has been started.
All matches are played in WGT (the only game in town ) .
Each match up must be able to talk with one and other to agree on who sets and invites while the other waits in the WGT lobby for the green invite .
E1 must be green (available ) and must use their WGT username to be able to accept and invite .
We just completed our 5th week , 10 tournaments . Not going to lie . It hasn't been easy . Gets better each week .
If you would be intersted in receiving invites for either Saturday or Sunday or both . Please let me know .
All sign ups , registrations , events are free and are non commiting in any way. With the exception of general politeness and sportsmanship in all events and regarding expectation that if signed up for an event . If unable to participate , some sort of heads up sometime prior to the event is requested .

Hello . Looking for a CC ? Please take a look at ours . It is very unique and different . We are called Valley Of The SUN Casual Club . A small , growing , all tiers CC with gr8 CC tourneys and multiplayer tourneys on the weekends . We have a daily BLITZ every week day of the year . Other match play . stroke play and putting competitions .

We are so still in the building mode . Got a good group of guys now that at least play in our very cool CC tourneys . But that's about it . There are a handful of us that have created some other cool events ie, Saturday and or Sunday match, stroke , and alt shot tourneys via " CHALLONGE" embedded in my webpage so you can view the tournament live from the chat . Works out incredibly well . We also run a daily BLITZ . It is awesome . Last week a guy ROBMURPHY4 ( view scorecard @ http://valleyofthesun.forumotion.co.uk/portal?pid=2 ) came within 11,000 points of having a 1,000,000 point week . Incredible and awesomely fun . Not to mention the improvement in ones accuracy playing a daily BLITZ .
But a handful of guys is just not enough . I am hoping i can encourage a few more of you who have a little more time and desire to play just a little more than just CC tourneys . Our events are already established , well,made , professional and fair .

I'm gonna bump a little more often . Hopefully more of you will come take a look . I am going to start the Spring Multiplayer , Multitournament Season soon . These will be a group of Saturday tourneys comprised of matchplay , strokeplay , alternate shot tournaments played via " CHALLONGE " on one of my webpages embedded with various ladder type brackets . These tourneys are just for fun for multiplayer enjoyment amongst players you soon know and respect . Not exclusive to our CC members . Any WGT member belonging to or not belonging to a WGT CC are encouraged to participate in these fun events .

MAN AM I SLACKING . MY LAST BUMP HERE WAS ON 3-11 . FOUND IT ON PAGE 7 . LOL . ANYWAY . IT'S REAL SIMPLE . IT AINT EASY THAT'S THE FKN TRUTH . WE HAVE SOME GR8 GUYS , SOME GR8 PLAYERS , SOME GR8 TOURNEYS AND EVENTS . AND WITH ONLY 50 MEMBERS NOW . I STILL FEEL LIKE I AM THE ONLY ONE IN THE CC ALMOST . The strongest small CC out there . Or close to it . We have 50 members . We are almost to level 9 . 15 members with 100,000 pts. or more . Have placed between 30th and 40th place in every CLASH . And we are all broke . We are proud of our #'s . We know we are strong and have a good start on building the CC even stronger . With the strength coming from only about 20 of our members . The balance just participate somewhat consistantly . We really need some more members that enjoy CC tourney play , friending other members , occasionally playing in other CC organized events , contribute to the forum . Being somewhat available for a response now and then . There are links on these pages to view our WGT CC and our forumation bonus forum / website with tons more available , more user friendly and has something for everyone . Please take a look . Any players potentially looking for a strong up and coming CC with little expectations other than your desire to contribute in some way toward the success and future of your CC . We hope to increase by about 20 members soon . That should be enough to bring down the expected daily point average to a reasonable level in our quest to hit the 50th spot .

the above is just a small part of the website that I have created as an extra bonus for our CC members and anyone else that happens across our forumotion site . One needs not be a member of our Valley of the SUN Casual Club to sign in and enjoy the many features and information found there . We have many members from other CC's and members not in CC's .
But enough of the website . Really not important and not the reason I am here in CC Corner . Recruitment of course is a priority of mine . Recruitment to our WGT CC . Valley of the SUN Casual Club . VOTSCC . It is an all tiers CC . We try to make tourneys to accomadate all levels . Interesting and challenging tourneys that allow one to hone their skills , lower their averages , move up in tiers .
After doing this for a while . I have learned a few things that help make a CC run a little better .
One of them is each WGT CC has a CC forum . In that forum . One will find massive amounts of very important information crucial to each members adventure and experience everyday at WGT . They will find out certain details about CC tournaments . Very important as there is nowhere else to post them . They will find out what kinds of matches count for lowering their average . What kind of matches do not count for lowering their average . And how to do it the most efficient way . They will find that if they do have a question . That if they post it in the CC forum . Many knowledgeable veteran CC members will be more than happy to answer them . One can find all types of game tips there . Make comments , complaints , jokes . And so much more .
What I have learned is that a CC runs much better with informed members . All members are willing to keep themselves current on CC activity by checking the forum on a regular basis . And on occasion , posting an Ok or an ugh , even just a fk you .
Communication is the key . Best feature one can offer .
There is so much more I can go on and on and on about . And I probably will soon .

If you are looking for a committed owner and a great CC then VOTSCC is a club you need to visit. Many different tournaments to help improve your game as well as provide great friendly competition. There are always members willing to offer advice or guidance if you ever need some. We also have a GREAT website that has volumes of information and entertainment for anyone who visits. I have the pleasure to be a member and would advise you to consider this club for your new home.

Just a couple more ways we try to keep it fun here in the Valley of the SUN Casual Club .

WHO HAS THE MAGIC STAR ? WHO POSSESSES THE KING ? ( as if I didn't know ).
These are two very fun in CC events that are a lot of fun .
The " KING " is a match play event where one CC member challenges the holder of the " KING " to a match play round . If the challenger is successful . They now possess the " KING" . And then should be available for other CC members to then challenge .

The " MAGIC STAR " is now the exact same except with stroke play challenge . The " MAGIC STAR " holder should make themselves available for any CC member to challenge them for the " STAR " in a stroke match of the challengers choice ( new rule challengers choice ) .

This is meant to be an on going fun challenge for all to participate in . The " KING " and the " Star "should be changing hands regularly and rotating throughout the CC .

This effort must be initiated by the CC members , in order for them to work , and be the fun challenges that they can be .

This is not new . How do the rest of you feel about this ? Please do not trip all over yourselves trying to hurry up and answer .

Speaking of comaraderie and tightness . Just two of the many positive adjectives that describes our CC .
It's very simple . Lol . ( one of my rare lies ) .
All you need is for about 400 things to fall into place in synche with every CC member . At the same time and you will have a very successful CC . Lol one can dream Right ?

Country clubs are many. One this good is rare. Lot of tournaments and events . The leader of the pack Paul (PDB1) is an wizard of sorts with lots of ideas and works hard to make this an exceptional Country Club. Give us a try.

Paul works VERY hard to provide us with a fun CC. Lots of different kinds of of Tourneys, for all levels.
The club is small and consists of members who (usually) take the time to participate in our events.
I have belonged to a few other CC's but have been with this one for over a year, and dont plan on going anywhere else!
Come on by and gives is a trial run!

No need to wait for that . Our website is open to all persons . There are many members in our website from other WGT CC's . many from no CC's . Some not even from WGT .
It is an available resource for anything and everything I can think of to include in it's awesome user friendly formats that allow so much more access and abilities , features , convenience than can be found in WGT .
You may sign in to our website at anytime . If at some point in the future you are available and interested in our WGT CC . You will be welcome either way .
In fact it is a very good idea to thoroughly browse through the website . It is not affiliated with WGT . Only a link is provide as is a link to WGTLS .
Only our WGT CC VOTSCC members are required to have membership in the site .

    Just can't say enough about our CC's tourney makers . They got it down . Always fun , interesting , changing in everyway , challenging .
Two more TL's this week . Tiered up almost all the way in this CC . Doesn't happen much maybe about 8 times . I can tell you they loved it and earned it . Our tourneys are just tough enough to keep them interesting and get a decent score . Rarely is a red tee ever seen here . They aren't necessary when our regular toueneys are as fun as they are .

My name on wgt is MStubblefield, i am currently at level 90, tier=Master, i just became a master last weekend, its been a tough road to get there. I am currently a member of the Soaring Eagles CC.. I was looking at other county clubs and came across your and was Impressed with your website and all the things it has to offer people. The way I look at it . Is that alt shot with 3 other players and stroke games with 3 other players ( both especially if they are club members) are a good social round . The difference being that the stroke round counts toward your average and the alt shot doesn't . Socializing doesn't interfere with my concentration . In fact I try to step up the competition when the round counts . Playing multiplayer rounds amongst piers is a good test to what we work towards in our CC tourneys in solo play . IMHO .

It really is what we are all working toward ( I think ) is to be able to step up when playing our piers and be able to show what we can do . It is I think the hardest type of play . But a little funner amongst friends .

Don't have much to say today . Only that If you can read a CC forum and want to play well made CC tourneys that help you hone your skills , lower your average , move up in tiers . And like to play multiplayer alt shot , stroke , BLITZ , and CTTH amongst your fellow CC members that all are friended . Then those and so much more are an everyday option here at Valley of the SUN Casual Club .
The best way to get an invite is to message me and tell me that you are interested . I will send you an invite .
I find that if we have one communicative exchange at the start . It eliminates a cat and mouse game just for an introduction .

Well I just sent out 32 invites via the tournament leader boards . I send out 32 to members not in CC's . They had something that set them apart from the way over 200 profiles that I viewed and elected not to invite . These 32 had 4 or more friends .
The majority 94 % of WGT tournament participants and members on the leader boards . Are a completely different sort than I knew existed here until a couple years ago . Almost all of them have been playing consistently here for 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 , years and do not have 1 friend . I am so perplexed by this . Just seems so unfathomable .
I have extended our invitation to hundreds of them in the past . No luck . Just aren't going to be good fits for a CC . So now I do not invite them .
I have a question though . Has anyone thought of any other mass listings with possible non CC members that might be better candidates ? Probably not .

Our tourneys are made by various tiered members that make various tiered tourneys that are just challenging and hard enough to stay interesting . This is a great group of guys, very active, a lot of tournaments, etc. Did I say a great group of guys? CLASH # 7
Despite all the moral and exploitive issues that the CLASH represents . We at VOTSCC cannot resist the event . Always going all in , in every CLASH . Always having more fun doing it than almost anything else we have done here at WGT .
In the first 6 CLASHES we surprised ourselves each time with some how outscoring many big CC's and finishing in the top 30 & 40 in each one .
CLASH # 7 was no exception . With 62 % of our little 43 member CC participating . We had a blast again . Winning a lot and finishing # 17 overall . To us , that was a first place win . We don't even want any prizes that are not given out anyway . GR8 experience and uplifter for the CC in general .
We have a casual , friendly and competitive , active , & real and unique CC going on here .
We welcome others that just like to be part of casually active and fun group here at WGT .

Thank you Jim . Jim is our head Tournament Director . He is on it . Tourneys have never run better . We always have a mix of tiered tourneys that are always challenging and fun . Everyone plays , so the fields are big . Everyone encourages each other in our CC . We are all on the same team . One small example is the CLASHES . When they started we surprised ourselves by finishing in the top 30 and 40 . For such a small CC that is pretty good . CLASH # 7 & # 8 . Were able to finish # 17 & # 16 overall . And we are broke . So that just shows what we can do as a team . Very proud of our CC .

Hello possible VOTSCC member. My name is Kevin. I joined VOTSCC about a year ago. I was a Tour Master...due to the strong tournaments and strong players in the CC which provides tough competition, This CC helped me get to Champion Tier.recently. I would not of made it if I was not in this CC. Our Leader..Paul and his board work endlessly so the members of VOTSCC has tournaments to play, reminders when tournaments start and end. We have computer class led by John. If you want to improve your level of play and have fun doing it...This is the CC for you. Hope to see you in our CC/Family.

Other formats and events that I will be emphasizing are our
" VOTSCC KICK ASS TOURS WEEKEND FUN IN THE SUN EVENTS "
Which are hosted by our CC from time to time . They are multi player Stroke Play , Match Play , and Alternate Shot bracket tournaments via http://challonge.com/ .
Who's brackets are embedded and played live on a portal page in our website by way of our chat box directly below the live bracket . All information on the brackets , match ups , courses , rounds etc are right there running live in front of you .
The games are all played in WGT of course . The only game in town . So you meet in the pre game chat . Once the tourney starts . You look up , see who your opponent is , then you chat right then with your opponent and agree to who invites and sets the match , the other waits in the lobby to accept the invite , play the match , come back to the chat , record the rounds from right there , watch the bracket change to the next round and the winners move on ( single elimination ) ( in double elimination you watch the losers bracket change as well ) . Right on through to the finals where a Grand Champion is crowned .
These are extremely fun . Tried and tested . I have hosted 20 of them .
I also am looking for new players that enjoy the CC vs CC interplay clash formats through out WGT .
Another couple of events that I have incorporated into our CC are :
" THE MAGIC STAR " and " THE KING "
These are in CC challenges . " THE MAGIC STAR " is the Stroke Play Challenge . The champ the holder of the Star must accept Stroke challenges from the challenger on the course choice of the challenger . If the challenger defeats the champ . There is a new champ and holder of the MAGIC STAR and will be posted on the champs wall . Until that champ is challenged and defeated .
" THE KING " is the Match Play cousin to the Star . The King must accept challenges from seekers of The King . The course of choice of the challenger and the champ must relinquish the thrown upon defeat . The King will then be posted on the new champs wall .
These are both fun events . Intended to keep members active as the Crowns travel throughout the CC .
Next is our VOTSCC DESERT BLITZ . A daily Mon - Fri BLITZ event that plays 25 BLITZ courses in 5 weeks . This is another fun event in which one has the whole 24 hours to play the course of the day in BLITZ single player mode . Play as many times as you want until you get the score that you like . Then you post that score . I add all the scores to the scorecard each evening . This is an addicting event that is fun and helps improve your accuracy at the same time . Like everything else in our CC it is competitive only at a friendly level . We are all on the same team . And support and back each other up at all times . There are daily high scores , weekly totals , and season totals .

Okay . It's still January and you haven't made that change , or you are still undecided .
You may as well do something . Right ?
Why not check out a few CC's ? You can join one . Check out the program , meet some members .
Then quit . Go try another one . Do it again if you like . Weigh the checks and balances , the advantages and disadvantages and make a a decision based on the type of environment that suits you best .
In our CC you really get a welcome . You are introduced in the CC forum . All members welcome you in their own way . lol .
Fairly soon afterwards you are fully involved . Just like you had always been there .
So it's not always that easy just to leave to go check out another CC .
But we make your exit polite and we always leave an open door for you to, return at any time .
This goes for members that have been removed as well . If they have a change of heart . And want to come back home and want to play a little better with others . They are also welcome .
We have several in fact many 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 time return members .
You might join and just stay . It will be obvious that we are different and we are the environment that you have needed and wanted all along .
I promise it won't hurt .

In my time at WGT, Ive come and gone from many CCs.
This one is the real deal.
I have never seen a CC owner work so hard to make his CC a success as much as Paul does.
He puts so much into it that it's a given that members will benefit.
He has a small core of support as well, that are willing to help in any way they can...and this CC WILL make a difference for you...regardless of level or tier.
Come try us out...what have you got to lose?

Now back to business . Valley of the SUN Casual Club . Our CC .
A CC that is in need of some members that like to have input in their CC forum . Whether it be to provide information or answer questions , Inquire about something . Comment your views and opinions on any matter fully no matter what your stance on an issue is . Expect others to reply and give input and maybe opposing views on any subject . Always being fully respected by all . And in turn showing the same respect to all members .
This type of member is what we are seeking always .
Another objective of ours is to recruit players that enjoy meeting and friending fellow CC mates . For several reasons . To get to know one another a little better . Also to enjoy some rounds with members of any format , mostly social and allowing some time daily or weekly in which to do so .
The above two types of members are the focus for our recruitment these days . Very seriously as I / we feel that these are areas that help make a CC successful .
We already have well made CC tourneys that have no problem with high participation including " Starters Equipment Only " and " No Drivers Allowed " . Custom tourneys .
Other events like stroke and CTTH brackets .
A daily BLITZ . ( 25 courses )
A Skills series CTTH challenge ( 35 courses )
A 16 player interplay team for CC vs CC CLASHES
In CC stroke and match play challenges where members challenge the holder of the titles for the title . The winner posts the titles on their walls until they are defeated .
We also host periodic VOTSCC KICK ASS TOURS WEEK END FUN IN THE SUN EVENTS . these are very fun bracket tournaments of all formats . Played on

All tiers are welcome .
All of these events are fun and challenging and are just part of the experience of excellent formats for players to refine their skills , lower their averages , move up in tiers while here in VOTSCC .

We need more players that want to be part of a group of alike players that enjoy interacting as well as seriously working on their game .
I encourage you to consider our CC seriously . We need some more players and I know that we can fill the needs of many that aren't getting what we offer .

A CC that is in need of some members that like to have input in their CC forum . Whether it be to provide information or answer questions , Inquire about something . Yes the CC membership has fluctuated Many times over the last two years . From 0 to 90 to 50 to 30 to 70 to 50 to 30 .

My recruiting methods are the same as everyone elses . The two most successful methods are hitting the leader boards and any other members not already in CC's with invites both on their walls and by clicking the invite to CC button And the other being word of mouth .
Anyone knows that posting in CC Corner is not going to generate a lot of response . Only CC owners go there to bump their threads .

Well that is certainly not true for most CC's . There are a few that have some luck recruiting . But generally from what most CC's report . Not only is there no good access to members not in CC's . But recruitment is just plain slow to nill for almost all CC's ( like 98 % )and a complete pain in the ass .
I do not have as much of a recruitment problem as I do finding members that will communicate . There are many players here that just want to keep to themselves . Those are not a good fit for our CC . So I remove them . .
Basically most members that are good CC members . Are already in CC's . And have been for a long time . Dedicated to their CC's for the most part and not planning on going anywhere . Lol . Until they decide to move on .
I try every method that I have heard of .

It is April 2016 alfknready . Man , time flies .
And in my neverending quest to grow and build our CC . Which also means continually coming back here to CC Corner to once again promote Valley of the SUN Casual Club .
Even though recruiting and growing and building is slower than molasses in January .
Our CC . It's members and myself are die hards for keeping things rolling .
We still have GR8 tourneys and events for all tiers and levels . Made at any format for you to work on your game , hone your skills , lower your average , move up in tiers . All with a GR8 bunch of players from all tiers . That will encourage you and support you the whole way . Friendly and approachable .
We also like to play matches with each other . That still being one of the hardest formats to pull off in WGT . Sending and accepting invites from and to the players you want to play with . We don't claim to have the answer to that . But the more that try and want that . The more likely it is to happen .
We also have CC bracket tourneys . We have a daily BLITZ . We have CTTH Skills challenge .
In CC stroke and match play titles for members to challenge members all the time .
Custom CC tourneys like " Beginners Equipment Only " and " No Drivers Allowed "
Most all events are free and just for fun . But Premium tourneys are welcome as well .

We are still looking for players . Right now with 28 members . 28 very good members . We still need more members of different interests to continue with some of our formats .
Good members do not have all the same interests . They do not have to like or even participate in every thing we present .
For instance . We have 13 on Team VOTSCC INTERPLAY . That is fine . But the recommended default amount is 16 .

Current event :CLASH IN SESSION
We have 6 players playing our Daily BLITZ . Which takes us through the 25 courses 1 a day M - F for 5 weeks per season . We are in our 13th season . 65 consecutive weeks .

To continue with some thoughts about these events . A couple years ago I was invited to participate in the "FLASH MOB " series of multi player tournaments in these
http://challonge.com/ bracket formats . Hosted by the infamous incredible " sugahsweet " . I was impressed . And hooked . These were the best thing since sliced bread . At least being a participant anyway . Not sure admin " sugahsweet " had as much fun . But they continued on for quite a spell . Eventually fading into oblivion .
So I had to try it . Already had a challonge account . So i got about 20 CC members and a few mates i knew from WGTLS . I started to host some of these multiplayer tournaments . Every week end . Saturdays and Sundays . We pulled off 20 in a row , mostly successful events .
With some improvements . Instead of an off base chat room to meet in and wait for admin to have to relay all the information . We embedded the live brackets right into a page in our own website . With our chatroom right below the live bracket . We could look up and see all the match ups all at the same time ( once the tournament had started , prior match ups were temporary and always changed at start up because of roster changes and no shows . ) But still so much more convenient for all . Once the tournament had officially started . You just look at your match up chat with them or him or her , decide who invites , go to game client , play your match , come back to the chat , record your match . Once all the rounds were in , watch the bracket change to the next round . Chat with your next opponent , and go play the next round , etc . Till the finals and a Grand Champion was named .
Things were going quite well ( as well as things can go with a bunch of online golfers all in the same place ) lol . Until the WGT invisible invite glitch debacle .
Our event came to a screeching halt . No way to invite . No way to play . That's been over a year ago now . I have tried a couple events since . Different group of players these days . Don't seem to have the same enthusiasm for multiplayer events that used to be so evident .
The enthusiasm or at the very least GR8 interest is a very important criteria amongst other needed disciplines and patience and a sense of humor and the necessity to be communicative and willing to follow protocol . to enable these events to be successful . And then some .
I don't know if I am actually putting it out there . Outside my CC .That i am an expert in running these events . And that if enough serious interest was to come forth . That we could consider putting together an event or so . To see how it goes . Maybe that's what i'm doing . If that's the case . It's no secret how to contact me . I will be happy to discuss and share a lot more details with any one . VERY IMPORTANT . This conversation in CC Corner is not a recruiting effort . These events can be played by anyone belonging to WGT. All that is required is an account with http://challonge.com/ with your WGT username . Challonge is linked to WGT by way of email for invites and notifications . By username and same email link . If you put a different email for challonge than you did for WGT then of course that will not work . It also helps with familiarity . If everyone knows you as " Theboogieman " and you sign in as Ernie . Not likely your gonna be recognized .
Also registration in my website is necessary for access to the chat and the embedded brackets . Wgt username and same email as WGT is necessary for the challonge reasons there as well . Nothing else will ever be asked of you from the website .
Like I said . I have this all figured out . It is a very easy protocol to follow and it all makes sense . It all has to be followed to the T . All details of the procedures from start to finish are already written out step by step and available to interested parties .
Now going back to what i said about this not being a recruiting effort . This is not . I am not saying I would not love to acquire many more members in the process . i am always looking to recruit . But his is mostly about things like boredom and inactivity and the passion i miss in the multiplayer formats . And this is a different and challenging format that takes a little seriousness and is different from the same ole . And can be a lot of fun . This is also a much quicker format than most . 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 rounds can be played simultaneously . Example 8 players , 9 holes , 4 matches , in 45 minutes .

Please do so at your convenience . Please use your WGT username . Challonge has email links with WGT for notifications of events and rounds .
In the case of alt shot teams Challonge will not accept two registered names on the same line to make a two person team . So I have to use other than your registered name when making alt shot teams .

This format that i suggest above . can be played in one evening . There are 3 separate rounds that would take less than 3 hours .
In the first round of 9 holes all 8 teams are playing the 4 rounds simultaneously . that's less than 1 hour .
In the second round ( the semi finals ). The four remaining teams play 2 rounds simultaneously . a little more than an hour and a half has gone by .
In the final rounds ( the Champoinship and the Bronze ) . The four remaining teams play simultaneously .
All totaled about 2.5 hours have passed and the tournament is complete .
I have done this way over a dozen times . More like 20 . So i know it works .
If everyone is all in . Then it is a piece of cake .
In the above scenario . The teams of Jim & jt already know and have spoken to each other , that they will face ken & gene and have both spoken to them too . And have also spoken to each other .
The 4 of them know to meet within 30 minutes of the start time . To be green available for the invites to match the 4 of them up for a 9 hole round at pebble beach fr 9 alt shot .
The same thing for MG & Robert who will face Kelly & Cindy who also have all agreed to meet within 30 minutes of the start time be be ready to invite the 2 teams to an alt shot match at Pebble Beach fr 9
The same with myself and Andrew who will play tiny and Gordon . And we all have spoken .
Ditto with Dan & Paul who are matched up against Lefty & Organlad .
The start times are all the same . We all know how to invite , who to invite and what course and what format . We will all be in the same chat right there before the rounds to confirm that each foursome is ready and raring to go .
Then play the round .
One of the GR8 advantages to setting up these matches in the Challonge format , on a page in our website with a live embedded bracket and a chat box underneath .
Is that it takes all the guesswork out of the invite dilemma . You know exactly when and where to find the players you are matched up with . With minimal communication and affirmation One can rest assured that players , the matches , the ability to relax and play a complicated format is assured . A luxury that very few have . But we do . Too bad this group doesn't get how easy and fun these formats are .

HELLO HEllo hello is there anybody out there ? Sounds like an echo chamber up in here .
I would love to revive some of the friendly interactive fun in our CC and here in WGT . I currently host CC vs CC interplay matches on a continual basis . Our current event can be viewed at : CLASH IN SESSION . Right here in CC Corner . These are very slow moving drawn out events . Meant to establish some interactive involvement outside each teams CC . The 2 interplay teams are responsible for contacting their respective opponents to schedule their match or matches ( this is my first 2 rounder I have created ) . These are usually matchplay rounds between a couple fairly evenly matched strangers . Almost all of the matches and events turn out well . With everyone making new friends and enjoying playing a head to head together .
This is one of my ways of encouraging improvement for the greater good . It isn't much but it is something . And my personal rewards are big .
It is not enough . Some how I must find some ways to encourage and promote and generate more interest in my CC .
Below is some of what has been highly successful in the past . By successful I mean 50 to 60 members . Almost all of which were active and involved beyond belief . Helpful , personable , dedicated , motivated . This has happened several times .
There have been many different reasons that these good times have ceased and then restarted again . It seems to go in cycles .
I am hoping for another resurgence . There is nothing like it . When all ducks are in a row and it runs like a well oiled machine . There is no pressure to do so . The right types of members just seem to step up and enjoy making it happen .
I / we already provide the best environment . Lots of fun choices in events . Ease of access and flexible playing times and formats . All negotiable amongst all members and players involved .
Everyone has an equal voice in the CC regardless of tier or tenure .
Below are some of what we need and a description of some of the events that are current and fun and available .
So hopefully you might be interested in :

See the player in the second bracket 1st round Buffaloforest ? He was not in our CC . i know him from WGTLS . He played in several events . As did others . from WGT .

Enough of all that . One can only try so hard to generate some activity . In CC or not .
Back to basics .
Valley of the SUN Casual Club is just that . A casual club to be a part of . Some GR8 tourneys , formats , events to keep you busy refining your skills . In a team like environment . In that we all support each other and encourage one another .
We don't require any minimums for contributing points . Or any particular amount of events .
We do however ask that a certain amount of transparency by way of ownership and respect .
Meaning . We ask that members friend one another . We ask that a periodic forum post be made . If nothing other than an Ugh or a Hey , now and then . just to show you are still there and you appreciate the work that the tourney makers , directors , event makers , and other CC members do to make it all work .
That is it . A very good group we have . All types and tiers . All treated and respected as equals without regard to tiers or longevity , age , gender or anything .
Check us out . We are very small and would like to build a little .

You have 27 members and 5 directors. I have no idea who your directors are, but one should be a recruiting director. You take a lot of the work on yourself (reading this thread is almost an epic undertaking) and this could be better handled by someone whose sole job it is to recruit.
You had asked for ideas in an earlier post, I'm just providing what I think may be helpful. Many hands make light work.

Wouldn't that be nice ? To share the burden . Gr8 concept Colin . I have posted many times that we need someone to step up in that area . I can't even get members to post testimonials here . No one willing to take on something like that Colin . We have a certain few that do what they do . And very well . As in most CC's I suspect there are a few very dedicated and willing to do what they need to do to help the CC . The other 95 % are lucky if they even show up to play .
It's not like there are any experienced , good , ideal CC members floating around available . In fact there are ZERO . They would of course all already belong to CC's . Dedicated soley to that CC . Until such a time that they decide to leave . Which will happen eventually . They end up in another popular CC with a good reputation and some more of their friends . Not likely much thought given to joining some of the many other CC's .
In fact I have stopped accepting requests from new to WGT amateurs and hacks . Just my CC welcome is too overwhelming for them . No matter how polite I am I cannot connect with them at all these days .
So instead of accepting . I decline and leave a message on their wall that says .
" I see you would like to join the CC . That will be fine . If you could just message me first and we can have a chat . I will be happy to send you an invite . "
So far that is working just as well as accepting their invites .
I recently spoke with a guy who had acquired a CC from someone . He has had considerable luck messaging the members of faltering CC's . Who's owners or members had basically abandoned any activity . Something I have tried in the past with minimal luck . But still a very promising approach . That takes quite a bit of time . I already do 28 hours worth of BS every 24 hours . I just haven't had the time to investigate what CC's may be in that position . And then follow through with a big recruiting effort .

The truth is we all invite a lot . We try to friend every member so that PM's are available . Would like to increase in size for the reasons of having more available for multiplayer matches . Also to have a full interplay team . And to fill more of our fun events and tourneys .

Here is a current list of very cool events that we offer at all times here in VOTSCC .
We are still looking for players to join and play these gr8 events . As well as recruiting new and active members to recruit and join our team . Right now with 28 members . 28 very good members . We still need more members of different interests to continue with some of our formats .
Good members do not have all the same interests . They do not have to like or even participate in every thing we present .
For instance . We have 13 on Team VOTSCC INTERPLAY . That is fine . But the recommended default amount is 16 .

We also have very cool CC tourneys and brackets . And many more . Obviously some will be drawn to different events . We just need more players to fill these GR8 events and keep them alive . Nothing is mandatory or required . But silence is not acceptable .

A few openings have surfaced for players from all parts of the world . Still looking for personable members of all tiers . Players that have time to work on their game . Show some interest in various CC events and formats . And enjoy socially playing in interplay CC vs CC events to have fun playing with other CC's . Be inclined to get to know other members . Communicate with them and have time to play some multiplayer rounds . Players that know how to use a CC forum . Players that even might want to have some input in helping to grow and improve a CC with a a strong core and a lot of heart .
Of course any or all of those attributes are a good start . VOTSCC offers all of the above and so much more . If any of the described above sounds good to you . Then we could be a very good CC for you . Of course there are hundreds of very good CC's to choose from . But check ours out . You won't be disappointed .
I do not demand anything . I ask and suggest
I do not require any amounts of CC tournaments or particular mandatory events .
You do not have to play everyday
I do not require minimums .
You are not required to produce XP's or use your free passes .
I only ask and suggest that you register in the CC website . This is a one time thing . This must be done . It is part of the CC and I have many reasons for this .
I ask that one friends all members in the CC . This is very reasonable and i do not hound you to do it .
As the owner it is imperative that I have I have contact with every member . That is a given .
WGT provides a CC Forum with every CC . The forum has many purposes . First and foremost the forum provides information that you must know to be a member . So it is a given that one must keep current by reading it regularly .

Columbus Storm does this incredibly generous extremely hard work out of the kindness of his big heart . To provide for us all an easy access to our often unclear status . As WGT does not provide this for anyone and does not care to . The task must be infinitely meticulous and painstaking .
For anyone to be anything but extremely grateful to him is not even an option . If a mistake has ever been made he has promptly and graciously corrected the error immediately . He does not have to do this . it would be wise if everyone does everything they can to show their appreciation to him for this generous feature he provides .

Back when genorb did the lists for the Legend tier, I always thought those were interesting. And I decided to try and continue the lists when the Tour Legend tier was first created.
Sometimes finding the most recent list is not easy since all the lists are in the same thread. I assume that was queening's problem.

The lists you take on are in the thousands . I can appreciate how tedious that can be .

Most certainly . It is an indescribable feeling . But this is the 5th time inside the top 25 . And most times in the top 50 . But there are also many other frequent occurrences from individuals and the CC that make this owner very proud on a regular basis .

25 members is indeed a small CC . Just too small . Not enough to fill many of our fun events . Not quite enough to expect to fill a 16 player bracket in a timely manner . Not quite enough to have a 16 player Interplay team . A good CC has a wide variety of players with many different interests . As we do . 25 active members spread thinly makes for low entrants in events , with everyone playing regularly . When we began we topped out at 90 members tapering down to between 50 and 60 at our best . And now for many various reasons are at 25 .

So recruitment would be the answer to growing and building . Slowly filling the events and increasing entrant percentages . ( notice how i am careful not to use the word participation ? ) Because we have good participation in events . Just to few members .
Knowing that good CC members are already in good CC's . And knowing that good CC members often change CC's . Usually from one large popular good CC to another large popular good CC with another group of their friends .
Recruitment efforts are made by me in the hundreds . Sometimes 100 in a sitting . They are exhausting , thankless , and with no results .
The easiest list from which to find members not in CC's comes from the Tournament Leader boards . The least likely list of perspective CC members one could ever put together . Consisting entirely of 6 , 7 , 8 year WGT members with from 1 to 6 friends .
With no intention of ever trying a CC . Or having already tried a couple CC's with bad experiences that left a bad taste in their mouths . Tainted forever .
So that list is not a list .
Another way is search the Country Clubs . You can type in a letter or a word and get 1 page of CC's that begin with that letter or word . Go down the list look at the roster at the owners stats . You see the owner hasn't played since 8/16/ 2014 . Then look to see if any of the other members are active . Nope no one has played in 2016 . Go back to the search . Try and remember what letter or word you typed in to bring up that page to look at another CC . Click a CC , check the owners stats . Hasn't played since 4 / 13/ 2015 . Look at the other members . Ah ha ! 3 have played in 2016 . but not since February . Go back to the search . Click on another CC . Owner hasn't played in over a year . 5 members have played in May and June of 2016 . Each have played a round or 2 in the last month or 2 . Yay . Ok so now I do the unthinkable . The Cardinal sin . I convincingly attempt to POACH this member . In fact I message and invite all 5 .
I am on a roll now . 3 hours later I have invited and messaged 20 of these unlikely perspective members . What do you know ? I don't hear back from any of them .
Wait . 2 weeks later in the span of 2 days . 3 different players accept my invites . Which means that they had to quit their present CC to accept my invites . YES .
I can't wait to talk to them . I post a nice welcome on their walls . I also post a very nice welcome to each in the CC forum . The rest of the CC members all respond and welcome them in their own accepting and welcoming ways . Makes it easier for novices or others that have no experience with forums or WGT for that matter . ( so I have been told , that this is very helpful . It is a regular protocol ). Eventually one would hope this new member would respond to all of these nice welcomes in their new CC forum .
I could go on and on . But I won't . And they don't . They don't respond to me or any wall post or PM . Much less their forum welcome . I continue to politely message and suggest that they message me or ask a question in the forum . Or play a round .
I get nothing . A complete waste of time . From the hours I spent the night of the original invite . To the 4 or 5 weeks that i try to connect with them once they accept the CC invite . Amounts to days of my time . Wasted with no new recruits .
I need to come up with some more approaches to recruiting that yield gr8er success than the ones I have been trying . Any help in that area is welcome . I am all ears .
Recently I responded to an owner advertising to find a new owner for his CC . I suggested that some of his members could possibly find a good home in our CC . I never heard back from him . Guess that's not what he had in mind .
But why not . If you are a frustrated owner . And your CC is faltering . Why not refer your members to another CC that has shown an interest . And could handle it . They may like it and be happier and really start enjoying their WGT experience .
Luck of the draw is not happening . With hundreds of very good and valid CC's to chose from . The likely hood that our little 25 member CC will even be in consideration is not probable .
We are here though . A very good CC at any size . With GR8 members and GR8 events . Offering a very cool CC in which to experience WGT . Please read through the preceding pages of this thread . And see what you think .

Hi all of you fellow WGT'ers. My name is Jim and I'm currently the Tournament Director for the VOTSCC.

I've been a member of the CC for over 2 years and found it's the best thing WGT has to offer....it's awesome.

Ok, here goes.....I'm a happily married guy (for the past 12 years to my second wife), soon to be 56 years young guy who lives in Kennesaw Georgia (15 miles North of Atlanta), and have for the past 12 years. I was born in Queens NY and my family moved to South Florida when I was 12, and being I was more or less raised there, I consider myself a "displaced South Floridian". I have 2 grown children (Chris 22 and Perri 25) who I am so proud of, and they are pretty much the only good that came out of my 1st marriage (also for 12 years).

I'm a State of Florida "A" licensed water treatment plant operator and worked for the City of Pompano Beach, Florida for, you guessed it, 12 years. I became unable to work in any capacity at all after those 12 years, thus I now am classified as "Disabled" / "Retired". That pretty much sums everything about me in a nut shell...just an ordinary guy with a life I'm happy and thankful for...more than a lot of people can say.

If your reading this, and aren't a member of the VOTSCC, I urge you to take a look at us and you'll see why I'm so happy there. We have a great owner in Paul, a dedicated and very active board of directors in myself (not conceited at all), Cory, Kelly and John and the best / most friendly members any CC would love to have....we are more of a family than a bunch of strangers.We have great Tournaments going on all of the time, including regular CC Tournaments, specialty Tournaments set up by our members (Paul, Arnie and myself), a Blitz that Cory runs and we play daily M - F, 2 Bracket Tournaments (1 Stroke Play / 1 CTTH) going at all times and we are very active in WGT sponsored events such as the Clash, where we've placed in the top 25 for the past few....14th in the last one, which shows you the unity and dedication of everyone our club...us being a 28 member CC and finishing so high all of the time shows the dedication everyone has to the club.

We have an extremely active Forum which most everyone posts in and keeps us up to date on club events / computer tech support / jokes and a bunch of other stuff.

I can go on selling the CC but words really can't describe how I feel about it...you have to see it to believe it. That does it for me....I hope that if you're reading this you give us a shot...nothing ventured, nothing gained!!! I'll see you soon....Jim (JimQ916)

It is hard to believe that in the last month we have seen our CC grow from 26 to 56 . And then back down to 39 current . before we hit 56 there were about 8 that came and went . Meaning that 38 have come and 25 have gone . gaining 13 . Most of the remaining 13 will not last either . Some play a little . They will likely stay . But the ones that barely play and will not respond to anything will go .
I have to believe that we are just having a bad streak . A slump . Not finding the right players for what we like . Not likely we will find many new and or inexperienced players that will like the invites formats . Just players that do everything else . Which is fine . I have to deal with it .
I have had to stop asking players to be available for some multiplayer matches and invites . No one wants to do that any more that I run into . No one .
There are many WGTers that I am sure find that hard to believe . Because they are part of a tightly closed nit , network of players that have always just naturally made themselves available for multiplayer and invite matches . Never having ever been without the ability to create and accept on a moments notice .
I know because I / we were once a circle of very active members that were available all the time for each other . 16 to 20 players can easily play several matches together every day .
Because of a miscommunication amongst a few members and a couple others And a misunderstanding with a few others . A couple others that just moved on . And a few I removed .
We ended up with no one that plays those formats . No one . That started about exactly 1 year ago until the first of the year 2016 .
Since then there have been at least 6 players that left because they could not get a response to any invites . Another announced that they will be leaving soon today .
I am just unlucky at this time to be filled with members that do not like to play multiplayer . There are a few that do like it and admit they are frustrated . But are good members and find plenty of other events to play in the CC . All the current members are awesome CC members . They do lots of other things . Just not invites .
I am optimistic always and always hope to recruit members that like multiplayer also . And think that will happen again soon .
We are looking for good active friendly all around members . It is a plus if you like invites .

BTW . WGTers . I am going to change my approach to the recruitment focus in our CC .
I will no longer be perusing the available lists of any kind . If myself or one of our players comes across a perspective member . Fine we will always give them an opportunity .
I will continue to post and promote in this CC Corner thread . If a player likes what they read here . Of course we would be happy to accept you . Word of mouth is GR8 too .
It has become obvious that the results of seeking out prospective players is no longer worth the trouble .
I still am optimistic that the word will get around that we are a good solid CC and a good choice for casual active players that also want to be a part of a group of team mates . Friend them play with them . Support CC events . Be visible and proud . Encourage and acknowledge them the same as we do for everyone ..

Derailed my own thread . Well I had a little help .
Things are going GR8 in the CC right now . A lot of activity . 40 something awesome members . Regularly winning new Flag and Tee Markers . Making the top 25 in the CLASHES . click here to see .
We also have well made CC tourneys , a Stroke Bracket and a CTTH Bracket running all the time . BLITZes , challenges , lots of events . More than enough to keep you busy .
If you read the last few pages of this thread . You will get more of an idea just how fun friendly and full of every format we are .

Hi my name is Jen, stumbled on this thread and am so impressed with your tenacity. I am still amateur level and have not accepted any CC or blind friend invites yet.....was waiting to reach at least pro level before I do. Are you still accepting lower tier members? If yes, would I be a minority? Your posts seem to suggest that your core group of players are higher tiered. I am a very casual player ( spare time an issue) but I am trying to get a few games a week in ( usually late night). Let me know. Thanks, J.

Thanks for the offer, and standing up to JimBog. He may know how to play golf, but not much about diplomacy or tolerance of other's opinions.
im currently in a small club that seems to favor WGT mobile app, so I fit in nicely. But I'll certainly keep you and this club in mind should the situation ever change.

For someone looking for a great CC to join, this would be it! I was in a larger but defunct CC with no communication and nothing to do but learn on my own. pdb1 sent me an invitation and things changed. Communication.. Country Club Tournaments... tips, hints, tricks, advice by others that have been through it.
I went from rarely playing at a L30 Amateur to a daily playing L80 Tour Master in 3 months. Great bunch of people.. Come and join the fun!

Been a member of Valley of the Sun Casual Club for around 5 months now. When my previous club was struggling for active members a merge with VOTSCC was an option we were all given. I enjoyed my old club. There was around 40 members in it although maybe only around 8 were active. But I prefer smaller clubs. There's a more togetherness feel about smaller clubs I think than a club that has 250 members. That's my personal opinion anyway. So when Pdb1 (Paul) invited me I was happy to join his club. How glad I did. As I type this we have 38 solid members. I've probably been in contact with at least 2 thirds of them. There's all types of tournaments to suit all tiers. Too many for me sometimes. Lol. And if you shoot a bad score 1 day there's never any teasing, just encouragement. In fact my games improved rapidly in the past 5 months. The club shows its togetherness in every CC Clash also,finishing usually in the Top 40 most clashes. For a small club, that is a tremendous achievement. Last but not least, the club is in great hands under Paul and the other directors I may add. Paul must spend 25 hrs a day running this club. The work that man does is something else. If you don't believe me, check out the club website. Yes we have our own website with bundles of info on it. All he asks is for a little communication, play some CC tournaments, but most of all have fun. So come on, give it a go.

I checked Valleyofthesuncc.com and read quite a few posts before deciding.
I am very happy I made the change.

One of the hardest things to do here in WGT . Is find good prospective CC members
There is no way for good members that are not in CC's to be identified .
The only place that one can view and see players not in CC's . Is in the WGT Tournament Leader Boards . Those players are the least prospective players in all of WGT . It is unbelievable . Literally hundreds upon hundreds of 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 year players there . That all they have ever done was play WGT tournaments . You are lucky if one of them has more than 2 friends after 9 years . Some have already tried CC's and had bad results . But most of them won't even say boo .
We have had several accept my invites and try things out for a while . Most would never reply to me and eventually I had to remove them .
Other than that there is no way to find players not in CC's .
Until recently ( like 6 months ago ) A couple of my friends sent me a couple lists of CC's where the owner had abandoned the CC's some time ago . Not making proper arrangements for some one to carry on with the ownership .
These CC's are left with no leadership , guidance , assistance . No way for recruits to become members . No way to find out information . They don't know about the main forums and barely know they have a CC forum . Most cases not used at all .
There are literally hundreds of CC's like this with thousands of members that are stuck like Chuck . And just think it is normal .
When I find out about one these CC's . I go to their homepage and scroll through the memberlist . I first look to see if anyone has played today or within a week from the current date . There are usually some . I will only click on those . And look to be sure that the last played date is correct . Most times not . They had evidently friended someone that day or something , bought some balls , etc. But they would be the most active members in that CC . I only invite those . With a message and an invite to join VOTSCC . They would be the players below our memberlist on the homepage .
Scott , Martin , and Ron each came from a similar type scenario . I think Scott and Ron got random messages on their wall explaining that I had the answer to all their troubles . And of course when Martins CC folded . His owner at the time graciously recommended VOTSCC to his ex members .
But no matter where they are from or what their circumstances are . There are very few that actually like it enough here to communicate just a little so they can stay .
Take a look at these recruiting efforts in one month . 1 MONTH OF INVITES .
Only a couple responded and eventually faded away . That is just one month a very busy month . But there have been easily 20 or 30 months with almost as many invites .
The amount would be mind boggling . I don't even think about it . But it does show that recruiting is extremely difficult for some like me / us .
Others don't even try and new members seem to flock to them .
Oh and go figure this out . Those abandoned CC's with no hope . get new members almost daily if not weekly . Absolutely no recruitment efforts at all .
So I have come to conclude that basically any or most WGT players that are good CC member types . Are already in CC's . And even they are likely to change to another very popular large CC that they are familiar with and or have friends in . And do that several times . Which would tend to put us out of contention for those who just jump to popular CC's .
I believe it is just the luck of the draw . We have not had our number picked in the LUCKY WHEEL OF FORTUNE IN THE SKY yet . But we will . Some day . And be flooded with GR8 potential CC members . Until then . It ain't happenin .

Hi all you WGT members. My name is Jim (JimQ916) and I'm here to let you know the Country Club I am a member of is currently seeking friendly, dedicated members who are looking to join a CC or is not happy with the Club you're currently in and want a change. The name of our Club is Valley of the Sun Casual Country Club (VOTSCC). We are a small (cuyrrently 47 members) but a very member friendly Club where there is never an absence of abundant events to participate in. We always have in the area of 20 - 25 free CC Tournaments (and a few "pay to play" Tournaments) at all times and these Tournaments are set up in a user friendly format, meaning most if not all are set up with no more than moderate difficulty in an effort to help you hone your skills, lower your scoring average and most of all, just have fun. In addition to these tournaments we always have a weekly "Blitz", which runs M - F (and is addicting as all heck), Bracket Tournaments (both Stroke Play and CTTH) and Specialty Tournaments such as "Beginners Clubs / Balls only" and "CC vs CC" matches. Our Owner's name is Paul (PDB!) and he is constantly looking for new ways to make our Club more fun although he's banging his head against a wall because the Club is almost impossible to to make better. We have 7 Directors who attempt to help him out as much as can be done and we currently have 47 members of all skill levels (H - C). We are a lot more than a regular Club, meaning the our participation level is extremely high and we are more like friends who meet on the 1st tee than a cut throat Club as many in WGT are. We're on a first name basis and everyone knows all the members by name. I can go on and on about the Club but I think I've covered most everything having to do with us. In order to get into the Club all you have to do is get a hold of Paul and he'll send you an invite to join. I hope that some quality members join...you definately won't be sorry....thanks everyone...Jim

I found 2 more 250 member CC's with abandoned owners . All with members showing some activity in 2017 . But none with anyone that had played more than about 4 or 6 rounds .
Those being the most active . Are not really good prospects for recruiting . But I messaged many of them anyway . No responses .
That brings me back here to C C Corner . Another long shot . If a player looking for a CC were to come to CC Corner . The likely hood that they would even hear about my little 35 member CC is not too good .
If I am patient long enough . Eventually that good list of players will happen across my path .

I just made a new post for middle and lower tiers . Who I have found to feel very alienated in their current CC's . Ignored , not responded to . Not assisted .
This I cannot understand . As these are the new heart and backbone of WGT . And should be treated as such . Like they are in VOTSCC . Always . With respect and listened to . A no brainer if you ask me .

HAIL TO THE MIDDLE AND LOWER TIERS

Valley of the SUN Casual Club C C

All tiers are welcome . But this is mostly a message to middle and lower tiers .

We have a CC for everyone . Our tiered custom tourneys . And boatload of information . Make our tourneys the ultimate practice round that counts . The unlimited play feature is a very smart idea .

By using the restart option in the menu . That allows you to restart your round at any time during the round before the end of the 9th or 18th hole . Anything played does not count with no repercussions . Only the round you finish will count.

Game completion percentage is not enabled in unlimited play rounds . ( green , orange , yellow icon ) Are not effected .

If the round isn't going the way you like . You just restart it as many times as you like until you get a score you can live with . Finish the round . And it's the only one that counts

With custom tiered tourneys . Meaning the variables are adjusted differently on every course every time . This gives you the ability to hone and sharpen your game . Lower your scores , and move up in tiers .

All in a fun environment where all players are supporting and pulling for everyone . At all times . Every player has an equal voice .

I play on aa iPad mostly (graphics are much better compared to my older mac) am I going to be limited on what tourneys I'll b able to participate in?

as a iPad user I'm limited on games I can play... alt shot, skins, best ball cant play

Yes they are in fact quite a few of the tournament and courses are available to them. And several of them play all the time.

As a matter of fact right now we are working on a format to incorporate into our interplay matches that will include mobile players it is just about ready to be introduced it'll be the first of its kind anywhere I can't wait to announce it.

Wow 9 weeks I have been absent from this thread . That is the longest yet .
I keep deleting all the pending recruits and saying I am done recruiting . Then i run across another CC with an abandon owner . I search the roster for any sign of recent activity . And invite those that have played in the last week .
I usually do about 20 to 50 in a sitting . Of which we will get maybe 5 players accept the invites . Of which only 1 if we are lucky will acknowledge us / me , play any CC tourneys . Or show any interest in being part of our CC at all .
So we sit at 40 members still . 40 gr8 members that get it . That is fine . But not really .
Just not active enough . We need about 80 . To be able to fill and have more full events .
It is too much to ask the 40 good members that we have to be involved in every damn thing .
CC vs CC Interplay
At least 2 running brackets
CC tourneys
multiplayer events
in CC challenges .
They already did that for such a long time . They need a little break . Or a long one .
With twice as many good members . That like CC events and formats . The burden would be distributed in a more casual and easy to do manner .
I have always known this . When we were at 60 about a year and a half to 2 years ago . That was a much better number than 40 .
Then some went about their way . And it has been the same ole same ole ever since .
Anyone that is a good CC prospect . Is already in a good CC Duh .
Because of the hundreds of other players we have run across . We are polite and hospitable . Patient and informative . And most all of them would not play CC tourneys . Would not respond to me or other members . Would not friend myself or other members . Just join and ignore everything else .
Lol . i am not even exaggerating . If they don't want to play with others , or talk to them , or even acknowledge them . Why join a CC in the first place ?
Anyway . I am the one that is losing interest now . Things are just too slow . Not just in the CC but all over WGT .
It used to be . Whatever I wasn't getting in one area . I had several other areas of high interest for myself and others to fill the void so to speak .
I thought for a while that what i needed was to get away from the CC . Get back into the game . Get lost in it for a while and do what i have to do to get to TL .
I don't think that is going to happen . For one thing I can't break myself off from the CC thing . Yet . Or ever if ever . Two I work too much and i have to sleep every night .
So I only have time to do CC stuff and play minimally . ( compared to what it takes to lower my average 2.23 points ) . Plus I don't have that drive for it anymore . I lost it . 20,000 missed putts has an adverse effect on ones motivation for some reason .
I am stuck in some sort of limbo . With not enough of everything I want to have driving me for more . Like it used to .
I will figure it out .
In the mean time . We have a gr8 CC . GR8 members . GR8 events . The coolest website in WGT . Is now a virtual ghost town .

WOW ! Lol . Can you believe it is June 2017 alfreakin ready ? My how time flies in an alternate universe . Maybe it's really still 2016 ? I'll have to ask Yancy . Could be some what nots i missed .

Ain't it just fitting that i get a rash of very welcome multiplayer alt shot and stroke invites from some of my favorite and upstanding friends . And i have been on for too long . I haven't cleaned and cleared . Or defragged my memory in a long while . And don't you know it ? I can't even get through 1 or 2 holes without 3 and out DQing . Ain't that a biotch ? It'll be a while till I hear from them again . Lol . Shheeeit . Damn . Oh well . I also think there were some server overloads that made it even harder to connect . But I will take most of the responsibility .
Recruiting

Our mobile division is growing nicely as well . Some fun and good players coming in . Some newbies as well . I do a lot to provide as much access to WGT as possible for the mobile players . That they otherwise may not ever be able to enjoy .
I figured out a way to incorporate mobile play into our
Valley of the SUN Casual Club Kick Ass Tours CC vs CC Interplay Series .
I have essentially ( but not technically ) broken the cross platform barrier . By creating an Interplay event played against other CC's that allow teams from the mobile division of both CC's to play concurrent with the main event . It worked amazingly well . And we hope to include this in all of our future CC vs CC Interplay events . Providing the opposing CC has some interested or any mobile players .

I have something else to share with you . We have a mobile player . From across the pond . Truly a fine chap . Mca19670 . His CC name is Martin the Mobile Maniac .

There has been a little more activity everywhere lately . More CC activity . A half dozen new members . More multi player alt shot and stroke games . CC Corner has a few actively looking players .
These are all good signs . Hoping it is an upward trend .
If you are not familiar with myself or VOTSCC . Please read through this thread . For the most part you will,get an idea of how active we are and what a GR8 bunch of member / players we have .
One thing I usually fail to mention is that we are not a credit CC . Very few Premium tourneys . Our events are well made and a lot of fun . Friendly competitiveness . no minimums , no mandatories . no pressure , no purchases .

Time for me to throw in my 5 cents (we don't have nickels down under) about this wonderful CC.
I've only been a member for around 3 weeks, but it has everything u could possibly want or need from a CC.
Paul is a tireless worker and owner for the club, and my mind really boggles at the amount of effort & dedication he puts into it, day after day ... and it shows.
We currently stand at 54 members, mostly active & involved, with a vibrant forum that entails every possible topic and subject u could imagine.I agree with Paul that we should aim for a membership level around the 80 mark to take full advantage of the many many different formats of tournaments we have.
So then, if you're tired of playing alone, in an inactive CC, or simply not making as many genuine new friends as u would like, try VOTSCC, I highly recommend it :-)

Hey everyone! I'm brand new to the CC and hope to meet a lot of friends, play a lot of golf and help contribute to the CC. Quick into... My name is Josh.. I'm 32, live in New Jersey by the shore. I'm a Union Carpenter and work in a oil refinery building scaffolding for Phillips 66. I love my job and love playing golf. Again, I'm very glad to be part of this CC. Hope to meet

In the last couple of months . There was an unusual show of interest . Approximately 50 recruits showed up . We kept about 25 of them . Starting at about 38 . We are now at 63 . With some good new young members . And a few oldies .
Mostly newer lower tiers . Several older upper tiers . All seeming to fit in well .
Nice to be back above 60 again for the 3rd time . Could use a few more . They will come .
What happened to the other 25 ?
Once a recruit is accepted . There are several easy tasks to do before they become full members . And a couple givens .
The givens are to friend myself and our tournament director . I will try a couple few times and then stop to see it they ever attempt to . Of course until we / they are friends . There are no PM messages going on .
The 3 tasks are very simple .
1) Respond to the CC forum welcome link that I post on their wall .
PLEASE WELCOME NEW RECRUIT BILLYBOB . It is our way of shaking your hand and helping you to feel more at ease . And at home .
Many members reply and welcome each new recruit .
2) Play a CC tourney
3) Register in our cool and safe website .
That's it . Do those 3 and you become a full member .
After that . I trust that they will be accountable to be somewhat of a visible good CC member . They are on their own .
But those 3 tasks . Lol . Some would rather die . They will do 1 or 2 of them in any combination .
Then there are those that never play a CC tourney . Never respond to my PM's . Much less one CC forum welcome . Never register in the site .
Obviously not good fits for the CC .
Once a player is in . If they are new or somewhat new to WGT or even CC's .
The first half of page 1 of the CC forum sticky threads are filled with dozens of topical links , and tips and UIRL's . With every thing one could ever want to know about WGT and tiering up . Ranked and non counting rounds . Saturation . Unlimited play tourneys , match play , stroke play , alt shot , etc .
How to get to your ACCOUNT SETTINGS and CONTACT INFO . To be sure that you have the right settings to enable communication . Because if it looks like this .

There ain't no connecting going on .
Some still can't find that page .
So if they want info . Page 1 in the CC forum has it up the ying yang . There is no search feature in the CC forums . So the only way to find a topic of interest is to copy and paste the link into the sticky thread for that type of topic .
For other new players that already got it like that . Been around you know . They can just start playing any of our various CC tourneys , Stroke brackets , CTTH brackets , CTTH challenges , Daily BLITZ , CC vs CC Interplay Or other formats and events . Enough to keep plenty busy and have fun .
Unfortunately I can no longer boast about all the fun interaction amongst CC mates in multi player matches . Practically non existent .
Back in the day . That's all we did . We / I loved it . Couldn't get enough .
Different group or generation or something these days . Don't know what they're missing .
Not a money CC . We have very few credit purse rounds . We could . We just don't .
Mostly a place to work on your game with the well made unlimited play CC tourneys . Made different every time . Helps to learn a course inside and out .
And many other formats and events to keep one challenged and busy .
Pretty simple casual environment . Where every member is equally the same with out regards to tier or , longevity , age , gender , hair color , or any hair . Everyone has a voice .
Hermits are not acceptable . One must have a minimal amount of visibility .
But that's not too hard .

It's about time you get some relief . By me at least . Lol .
What a GR8 member Ron . Thank you very much . Thanx for all you do Ron .
VOTSCC does have a GR8 deal going on at all times . Well made CC tourneys . Stroke and CTTH brackets . Skills challenges .
We have 25 + CLASHers in our 50 player CC . Who yesterday were a little slow on the search trigger . Allowing time for only 10 CLASHES . But made up for it by scoring over 20,000 points in 10 CLASHes . With a 4 hour wait at the end and at 34th place. Our little 25 person CLASH team still ended up in 45th place .
Well done CLASHers . You Rock .

Hi all you fellow WGT members. My name is Jim (JimQ916) and I'm here to let you know the Country Club I am a member of is currently seeking friendly, dedicated members who are looking to join a CC or is not happy with the Club you're currently in and want a change. The name of our Club is Valley of the Sun Casual Country Club (VOTSCC). We are a small (cuyrrently 47 members) but a very member friendly Club where there is never an absence of abundant events to participate in. We always have in the area of 20 - 25 free CC Tournaments (and a few "pay to play" Tournaments) at all times and most of these Tournaments are set up in a user friendly format, meaning most (although not all) are set up with no more than easy, moderate or hard difficulty (but none that are unplayable) in an effort to help you hone your skills, lower your scoring average and most of all, just have fun. In addition to these tournaments we always have a weekly "Blitz", which runs M - F (and is addicting as all heck), 2 Bracket Tournaments (both Stroke Play and CTTH) and Specialty Tournaments such as "Set of the week" and "CC vs CC" tournaments. Our Owner's name is Paul (PDB!) and he is constantly looking for new ways to make our Club more fun although he's banging his head against a wall because the Club is almost impossible to to make better. We have 7 Directors who attempt to help him out as much as can be done and we currently have 47 members of all skill levels (H - C) and genders. We are a lot more than a regular WGT Club, meaning the our participation level is extremely high and we are more like friends who meet on the 1st tee than a cut throat, crude Club as many in WGT are. We're on a first name basis and everyone knows all the members by name. I can go on and on about the Club but I think I've covered most everything having to do with us. In order to get into the Club all you have to do is get a hold of Paul and he'll send you an invite to join. I hope that some quality members join...you definately won't be sorry....thanks everyone...Jim

Hello everyone,

As we approach the end of the year, I'm taking some time to reflect on this game.
I joined WGT around the first of the year (2017). I only play on my iPhone, so I struggled with the game until I figured out that joining a country club would help. So I joined the first one I came across. This proved to be a very bad choice for me. The club was very stale and non commutative. But I didn't know any better. I stayed with them for a few months, it was OK. Again I didn't any different.
I finally started to look around at other country clubs. My head started spinning. They are so many different ones and types. Still I was in the dark.
I played a mobile player, I'm sorry I can't remember who, in late May of this year and I took notice of the country club they were a part of. The Valley of the Sun. Heck I live in the Valley of the Sun. I remember I was apprehensive to leave the club I was in. I took a chance and did it.
This has proved to be one of the best decisions I've made regarding WGT. This club is very active. I've progressed up from Pro to Legend while apart of this club. With the help of many current and former players. I've touted our club ever since.
I have really found a home here. My heart felt thanks to you Paul for all you have done and will continue to do for this club and for its members.

Right on Jim and Charles .
Jim is our Tournament Director and works tirelessly to keep our tourneys up and to keep us all informed .
Charles has been here just under 6 months . He is so involved in everything that it seems like years .
Charles is a mobile only player . And like the rest of our mobile division . You wouldn't know it . They are every bit as active and involved in the whole CC as our PC players . And more in some cases .

I need to post this somewhere and hope it gets to the right people .
I painfully and emotionaly write this letter of explanation and likely farewell .
I will not get into boring details . But this stems from longtime injuries to my rotator cuffs .
My right one has been bad for years . My left one just recently caught up with it With its complete tear in September .
i have had useless physical therapy . And surgery prolonging cortisone treatments .
I worked as much as i could until January 19th . I could not move my arms another day .
Things had already found me in the red at that point . I had already initiated . workman's comp claim and some kind of Social Security claim . which will take every bit of the 6 months or more . To get denied .
So Jan 19th was my last working day I had already been working for months against my doctors wishes . I had bills to pay . Now i can't physically work . And Doc has ordered that .
I have my left arm surgery on February 16 at 2:00 PM . 3 months of rehabilitation . And i can hopefully get my right arm surgery as soon as possible .
At our age the shoulders , rotator cuffs can not heal , they continue to detiorate . causing scar tissue , calcium , abnormal shaping of the bone , atrophe , soft tissue .
Losing the use of the arm and range of motion until you can longer use them .
So the repairs are crucial . And serious rehabilitation to regain strength , range of motion , to as much as possible . So I can continue to work for 7 more years . Retire . And live my later years with the use of my arms .
That is my plan .
So back to January 19th . Can no longer work . Am already broke . Have lots of things to take care of .
IRL is defeating me . it is so tragic . I am now being reminded of what a cold , cruel world it is that we live in .
That WGT and VOTSCC are too much . I can no longer do this .
January 19th was my last day here .
This is February 1st . in 4 days on the 5th . My wife and i will be evicted . For failure to pay rent . I am $ 1100.00 behind . No money and no way to convince anyone to wait until a benefit kicks in .
This is so unbelieveable to us . I can't even pack my belongings because of my arms .
My wife has some serious health issues . Particularly allergy and immune sytem vulnerabilities . and cannot take too much exposure .
So before i am to the point where i may not even be around a computer . I already know I will not be returning here .
I never would have bet i would ever be saying that . Ever .
I just want to say good bye to the many many of you that have made these last 5 years for me . One of the GR8est experiences I will ever have in my life .
The positive impact this has had on me is immeasureable . The hundreds and literally thousands of WGTers I have encountered has been a pleasure .

this above is just the tip of the icebeg . from the frustrations of not being able to connect with my CC to arrange for a transfer of ownership , or even a temporary one . Which I desparately tried to do . i have to walk away not living up to my obligations .
Which is what it is . and will just have to be . because it is nothing compared to what i am facing daily . IRL . Which will now get my full attention .

ON MONDAY I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED 164 OF YOU MEMBERS .

Yes that's right . I was in a section of the AMINISTRATIVE PANEL . I was sorting out a couple groups of members .
As I checked certain members off of the list I was looking at . I didn't realize that I had been deleting the members that I clicked .
Now because of the area I was in in the AP . The utilities restore feature cannot recover these accounts .

To me this is devastating .

In this site . One is not required to post or do anything that shows activity .

These lost members were members for years because they wanted to . Because they knew they could come here at anytime . To get some information , read some entertainment , relive some memories in one of the memorials . etc .

Without pressure of any sort . To make a purchase . Or to do anything .

Have a safe spam free account here forever .

Most of these were ex VOTSCC members

. Or many other various WGT friends I have encountered over the years .

I do not have a list of these members . I will never get them back . It is a sad loss for me . Even though they were not " ACTIVE " . They didn't need to be . They kept their accounts for a reason .

I can't say enough about this Club. If you are looking for a CC where everyone is welcomed with open arms, achievements are recognized every step of the way, a very passionate and committed Leadership that goes above and beyond to ensure that everything and anything you need to know is available to you, an active forum that is both informative and sometimes just plain fun and lastly but the glue that holds everything together.....an Owner who cares.........then look no further.
We have an awesome group of players both pc and mobile. Although not required to participate... with our small group we place incredibly well in the Clash events.
Very little is asked of you..........friend the owner and Jim our Tourney Director. Very odd and timely . Your inquiry . As it is the current discussion in our Cc forum as well .
There is no particular reason for any % of types of players here .
there is a problem with players not being able to play one another though .
That is caused by a lack of commitment to this format .
There was a time when multiplayer was prominent here in this CC . And was one of the main draws and brought a GR8 deal more excitement to an already strong and fun CC with a wide range of variety to offer its diverse members .
But at some point in time . As has happened throughout all of WGT . There has been a strange drop in popularity in multiplayer site wide .
There are various theories and reasons for this . Including the aforementioned lack of commitment .
But there are other factors in play as well .
The invite icon has been a big problem from the start of WGT .
Its placement on the WGT tab page . Requires one to be staring at the icon at all times so as not to miss the little tiny green icon when an invite has been made .
At this moment in response to your inquiry it is above my line of sight . I could be missing several invites as I respond to you .
And has been the cause of many disputes oif players claiming to be available but not responding to invites . This occurs hundreds of times per day .
A better location for the icon . On the top and bottom of the page would solve that missing the icon issue .
A pop up for invites . Would also be an alternative .
We have had as many as 40 % European members in our CC at times .
But our membership is like a revolving door . As we ask a certain amount of accountability here .
We do not require the use of any passes at any time . That is completely up to the player and his or her personal needs for equipment and the XP race in general .
We do not have any mandatory minimums for events or tournaments
Because of the fact that there is a good many players / members that are aware that there are many components that go into making a group successful .
We do ask for some accountability . in the way of presence and communication .
This seems to be a very hard task for the average WGTer . As we have had enough players to make 2 250 members CC's come through here . But they would be non playing and non communicating CC's .
Which we are not .
We are a 50 to 60 member CC . Which the size in itself makes multiplayer a harder format to play .
There is much more to VOTSCC than the multiplayer . Which is something i do encourage and always have . I still get some in CC multiplayer in . but mostly I play with my WGT friends . Which is as fun and satisfying as any .
But even the typical site wide efforts to play multiplayer have diminished over the last couple years . many times impossible to get that 4th player .
More tell tale signs of a struggling format .
So sad .

very well put paul, i find it easier to play a Multiplayer game , with 3 other Total Srangers.
Cause........ 3 strangers playin together, can be a real Cool Time

After I replied to you . I got to thinking that I wanted to point out that Time Zones do not have to be a factor or a barrier .
In fact it may be easier to set up a round with someone half way around the world . Then with someone right under your nose .
I don't think Europeans are not signing in to VOTSCC .
My calculations have our CC with 36 % non Americans .
FYI .
36 % foreign . Sounds much better than 5 % European .

Due to my very bad IRL luck . I am now without a home , internet , phone , income . When the repo guy finds me I will no longer have a car .
The ladies phone I am borrowing for this hotspot has 4 % left on her battery .

Since I can no longer play .

And the fact that WGT member services supports the degredation and discrediting , defamation of myself and my good name .From the person above and many others .

I can no longer support or tolerate this WGT .

If in the future I regain my internet . I will not return here .

I have transferred ownership of VOTSCC to a capable very good person .

I will also be deleting my account .

I wish to say good bye to all the wonderful people I have had the privelage to share , learn , play , converse , joke and meet over the last 5 years with .

It has been a very memorable experience . One which I will cherish many good memories .

May peace , love , happiness , freedom and the SUN always be with you .

Somebody should be very careful about posting in this forum for another person who is banned from posting in this forum. The other thread you started for him has already disappeared. You seem like a good guy in your history here, be careful about being subjected to moderation. If the person is banned from posting in the forum then surely it is not allowable for another to post for him.

I never dreamed that I would one day be wishing for a bridge collapse.

The bridge has collapsed . I get it . My needs and desires to mend and repair and bridge the gaps . Is no more . Here in WGT .
I had a good run . I was able to happily and positively learn and create and give and receive . Input and change . Discuss and debate . All with the some of the most intelligent and resourceful , personable , respectful , generous and caring individuals I could have ever met in one community .
When that changed into hostility , negativity , lies and disdain .
Out of my control . Over the top .Beyond maturity and reason . To be unable to stop or talk or find common ground . This became something I could no longer be involved with .
Not being able to log on to the game client already . For lack of a strong enough internet connection . Had already halted my ability to play and enjoy this game I love so much .
I made a very difficult choice . One that turned out to be something that took months for me to actually decide and act on .
Because of my burning passion to continue to help to provide for others . As GR8 of an experience as possible for others to learn and enjoy and spend their time at WGT .
What I / we had been doing with much pleasure and success at The Valley of the SUN Casual Club for 4 years .
Was extremely hard to let go of . Many would have no idea . Some of which helped to make that decision much easier . But it wasn't a farewell party . That's for sure .
I have relinquished ownership to Charles1553N . Surprisingly a mobile only player . But like our other mobile players . For years now their involvement in the CC is as fully involved as our PC players . Most wouldn't know they are mobile players unless they told you .
In good hands with the rest of the crew .
Aside from this post . And another that had conspiracy inquiries .And a few friends that I correspond via our PM's .And will soon convert to strictly email very soon . Which BTW is no fun without my phone . Generally not a phone person . But they are sure necessary . Without one . I am somewhat paralyzed . Communication IRL is so key . As it is anywhere . Even here . Lol . Which many do not agree with . Good thing most do .
But essentially I am gone . About to fade out for good .
Good bye to all the hundreds of wonderful people whose paths I have crossed . You all had a very positive impact on my life in our time here . Something I will never forget .

Big congrats to Charles1553N and the rest of the VOTSCC gang . Membership has grown to 106 members . ( all time biggest ) . With seemingly only about 9 or less with inactivity .That is awesome . WAY TO GO !
It would have been hypocritcal of me to have remained a member when I left . By not playing .
Sadly I have lost contact with most of the CC . ( as expected , that's just what happens ) .
But you guys are doing GR8 . Very happy to see that . I get the best rushes from my memories of the CC and everyone else in WGT that I had so much fun with for over 5 years .
