It's been a while since I expressed some of my objectives for the CC . First of all I like and respect everyone that joins our club . I realize that not everyone knows what a CC is all about . Many have different reasons for joining . I really don't know how many of the other clubs are run . They are all different . What I want to emphasize in our CC is that whatever tier you are . That you feel comfortable here , part of a team of players that come here to find conditions that enable them to improve their game , hone their skills , lower their scores ,lower their averages , move up in tiers . Enjoyably and comfortably with the conditions that challenge them enough to keep that drive without the frustrationsof regular game play . All that is completely possible by either creating those tourneys yourself or by messaging me about it . Or someone else in your tier that has been creating tourneys . Any kind of information that you need to know should be provided here , any kind of appp , calculator , help , tutorial , tournament , statistic , message , opinion , gripe , compliment , etc , etc . Should able to be aqcuired here ( or in our website , as it may be easier there ). With your help , all of this can be done easily . We already have a good start . I am going to be here for a very long time trying to achieve all this . For any of you that think it's a good direction for your CC to go in . Then lets keep on keepin on . Sincerely , Your Co team member PDB1 , Paul ( sitting here on a rare rainy day ) May the SUN always be with you

Did you just wake up from a month-long nap? News flash: Windows 10 is here! Microsoft’s hotly anticipated next-generation desktop and tablet operating system was released to the public nearly one month ago, and the response so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Sure there have been a few speed bumps on the road (here are 5 common problems people are having with Windows 10 and how to fix them) and sure the launch has had a scandal or two (Windows 10 is spying on almost everything you do, but by and large, people love Windows 10… because it’s not Windows 8.
One of the most talked about new features in Windows 10 is the Start Menu, which is actually an old Windows feature that was sorely missed in Windows 8. But did you know that there’s a special “secret” Start Menu in Windows 10 that you’ve probably never even seen before?
The Start Menu is indeed one of the biggest draws of Microsoft’s new Windows 10 platform. As much attention as it has received, however, there’s still a whole other dimension to the Start Menu that many people have no idea exists.
So how does it work? Simply right-click on the Windows 10 Start button and… no, wait, that’s it.
Right-clicking on the Start button opens up a new panel of shortcuts that give users instant access to things like the Event Viewer, Task Manager, Control Panel, File Explorer and more.

John,
Interesting post . Do you have an opinion on whether to click that windows 10 icon on my lower right. Running windows 8.1 now. Would welcome any feedback at all. Thanks.

I've been told that in order to me to use Windows 10 I need a lot more computer power to use it. Sticking with Windows 7 Ultimate because I don't want to install 10 and have problems...had them with every new version I ever upgraded to...too old fashioned here to try my luck again.

John . I want to say thank you to our Director of Technology . I had no idea ( a little maybe ) what an interesting and valuable resource this / you would become . This adds a whole new dimension of awesomeness to this CC . Especially with your expertise and personal air of quirkiness and humor . I look forward to all your posts . And I have learned a great deal along the way from them .

Paul, I want to say Thank you so much to you and company. You have Top Shelf persons giving 110% a good part of 24/7. I'm stepping out on a limb here, but the group of men you put together, do it for the passion of the game and the feeling of having "PURPOSE" which cant be measured in dollars and cents. I salute you all.
I,ve known you for awhile now Paul. Must have read a least 100+ post. Seen you almost whipped by frustration, Off the charts HAPPY because you had one day(1) without incident out of 30-45 days of constant mayhem. Your above statement is very powerful to me. A pat on the back goes a long way with me. You've have given me "PURPOSE" which has been absent for some time now. Thank you Paul, Rob, and Jim for your continued support..
Which brings me to a confession inspired by you 3 gentlemen in particular. Proposed a plan to post surgery / nursing home company in my neighborhood. The proposal, that was gracefully accepted, is I will setup 3 laptops programmed with video/audio email program for each patient that will connect them to family or friend with a few clicks of the mouse. The director also got staff to buy into it. I'll also do training of staff and patients where applicable. Alot of the elderly have no visitation from family or friends. I look into their eyes and only see disparity and sadness. This program will keep family and friends updated on the condition of the bedridden patient. I believe it could be small form pleasure to talk / see someone you can connect with.. Doing it on behalf of my ministry.
In closing, I wanted to share with the three of you what you brought to my table. Thank you so much my friends...Peace

Hi Rob. here is the system requirements for Windows 10 which have not altered much since Windows XP- Latest OS:
Make sure you are running the latest version of either Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 Update.
Don’t know which version you are running? Check here to find out. Need to download the latest version? Click here for Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 Update. - Processor:
1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC - RAM:
1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit - Hard disk space:
16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS - Graphics card:
DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver - Display:
800x600 - If you fall short in memory or hdd space, i would recommend purchasing 1-2 16 or 32 or 64 GiG Flash Pendrives (USB Flash sticks) There is a command line program that will utilize any available flash drive memory/disk space. I've put my Page File on usb flash stick which system runs faster smoother as page file can consume resources.
- There is also the process of backing up large programs to create more working space.
- There is program i use to help distant friends called TEAMVIEW. Its widely used in technical field work. With your permission i can logon to your system and clean / optimize it while you watch whats going on.
- Its secure and safe. Only you and i will have 1 time matching keys to function.
- i've gotten old xp machines to blaze with just 1 gig ram. Once you custom optimize it kicks butt but MS has things running that effect other apps. anyway be more than glad to help
