NEW COUNTRY CLUB POST . Jan 13 2023 .
RATHER THAN POST A LINK(S) TO MY WEBSITE TO VARIOUS CC OWNERS THAT I SEE THAT ARE ACTIVE THEMSELVES . BUT SEEM TO NOT KNOW THE MANY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS AND BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO THEM .
I am going to copy and paste a few excerpts here on this WGT page . No I really do not know why I feel compelled to help them . Just like running a CC . This is time consuming , thankless ,
And most importantly . My opinions and observations only . Only posted as some possible suggestions that may or may not help or interest them .
LABEL YOUR MEMBERS FOR WHO & WHAT THEY ARE :
After you ( the owner ) has assigned the various ranks of your members . By putting some thought into it . And clicking the 3 little dots next to each member on the home page .
Director(s) , Veteran(s) , Member(s) , Recruit(s) .
This is the owners tools permissions page ( this is how they used to look , I don't know if this has chamged ) .
You can then assign permissions in the 7 categories below .
There is also a CC Forum . Can/should be used to provide any and every kind of information about WGT , CC's , Tiering up , lowering ones average , specifics of all CC tournaments , The benefits of building and growing a CC/group/team of WGT online virtual golf lovers . Information about all the playing formats in WGT . What ranked rounds are . All about brackets CC & WGT , CC Stroke Tournaments that are Tiered Single Player Unlimited Play with customizable conditions ( unlike the WGT Tiered Single Player Unlimited Play tournaments that are all default settings and can be very boring . Same tournaments except withe ability to change them up and learn the courses from many variations . ( The single most valuable format in WGT CC Tiered Single Player Unlimited Play tournaments ) .
The CC forum should/will be the go to place for all CC members to learn about special events , all over WGT .
A place for all members to share and learn and expand their knowledge . In the process of building and creating one of the most awesome teams you will ever be involved with in your entire life .

CC HOPES :
The hope for what occurs in a CC is that the very best environment is provided for all members of all tiers to enable them to hone their skills , lower their averages , and move up in tiers , and to have fun doing it with little or no other expectations .
All that can easily be the case playing in the well made CC tourneys . Friending and learning from and playing matches with all of your CC members .
By keeping current with what sometimes is critical information posted by various members in your WGT CC Forum .
FRIENDING :
Friending a WGT CC member is the same thing as shaking the hand of a team mate . Period . Here in your CC especially . You have nothing to fear from the members in your very cool CC . Much to gain though .
First friending a CC members only does a few things .
1) enables a green dot when available available only means that their computer is on and are logged into WGT and are not in the middle of a multi player round . Does not mean they are staring at their computer screen waiting for invites to decline .
2) enables WGT PM messaging ( top of friends profile page not yours ) . Which allows one to communicate to one another . Communicate welcome and interesting messages as there would be no other reason for a fellow CC member to message you .
3) Opens a unique and elite pipeline of communication of opportunity bteween the always awsome and interesting and friendly members of your CC that are always more than willing to step up and back you up and help in anyway more than any other place in WGT.
Friending someone in WGT does not disclose any personal information about yourself . Other than you too are an awesome member of your CC .
A GOOD START :
The events , the formats , the features , the information , the guidance , the encouragement , the support , etc . Is all in place .
RECRUITMENT :
Developing a plan for recruiting members will cause you to ask yourself some very important questions. These questions are basic to just about any recruitment effort. I believe your answers to these questions will be the building blocks for your own recruitment plan. They are:
Why do you want or need members?
How many members do you need?
What kind of members do you need?
Who is going to find and get the new members?
Where are the new members?
When is a good time to look for new members?
How should you approach potential members?
What happens if you get a yes, a maybe, or a no?
What are some obstacles you may encounter? And how do you get around them?
Who's going to find them? Determining who finds and gets the new members is essential to your planning. You and your staff can plan together the approaches you will use to get the people you need.
RECRUITERS :
Don't be shy about delegating responsibility. If you have people available to help you recruit, make those people as useful as possible. Assign different recruitment tasks to different people. Don't just tell all of your people to go out there and get members. That will most definitely waste your time and possibly that of potential members too.
Recruiters do not have to be Directors or Veterans . You can assign any title that you feel the CC could benefit from . With the agreement of your members of course .
Recruiters , Tournament specialists ( makers ) for various tiers , human relations , statistitions , CLASH Foreman , etc whatever you want . And they will be official . In your CC only .
TOURNAMENT MAKING :
I have a lot of ideas ( outside the box on this subjest ) . But no one says it better than Jim .

Hi all you great members.....hope you're having a great Sunday. I previously posted a few suggestions in the forum concerning the CC Tournament set up that some members liked and some not so much. Taking everything into consideration I have thought about how to have more members sign up and complete the Tournaments they have signed up for. Here are my suggestions
1) Time period....I suggest a minimum of 3 days (ideally 5) to complete a round / tournament:
***I've found that tournaments set up for 3 days or less has numerous members who don't / can't finish their rounds in time. Many members have jobs / family / obligations that prevent them from playing daily and / or even every 3 days so they can't finish in time. There are also numerous other things in our club to do (Blitz / Bracket / Specialty Tournaments) that crunch a members ability to play what they want and consider our CC Tournaments as not a priority (last on the of things to do list).
2) How many Rounds...I suggest no more than 2 but any amount is up to you
*** I've found that Tournaments set up for 1 or 2 rounds have more participation and less members who sign up and don't play, or withdraw because of the length. Tournaments set up for 4 rounds have numerous members who play a round or 2 then either drop out or don't have the the time to finish and WD (see #1 above)
3) Split Tiers....I suggest that most, if not all, Tournaments that are split up for Lower / Upper Tiers draw more people more complete the Tournaments
*** I've found that "All Tier Tournaments" are dominated by the L - TL's with the lower tier members finishing usually 6th or worse at best. I understand that the "All Tier" set up is preferred by some but the idea of "Split Tier Tournaments (H - TM and L - TL) would allow every member entered to compete against players of similar skills with a chance to Win. I find it frustrating to post a 32 - 33 and get beat by 5 - 6 strokes thus I avoid these "All Tier Tournaments" with many other lower Tier members avoiding them also.
4) Green Speeds / Wind / Tee's...I suggest that the green speeds be set up with the default speed used by WGT.
*** I've found that the green speeds be used in the set up of a Tournament sometimes influences a player to play or not. For the "Lower Tier" Players make the speeds Fast - Very Fast and the "Upper Tier" either Tournament - Championship. You can choose the difficulty of a Tournament by moving around the tee's and adjusting wind speed. Every so often have a Tournament set up with faster green speed but make those few and far between. I myself, being just a Master, putt on VF greens but also enjoy playing on Tournament greens from time to time and Championship greens and up just kick my butt. Also, take into account the difficulty of the course being played... i recently screwed up by making a Tournament (at Brandon) with impossible green speeds for that course.
5) 9 or 18 Holes...I suggest that most, if not all, tournaments be 9 hole rounds and not 18
*** Once again I screwed up when I set up the Brandon Tournament and made the rounds 18 holes and not 2 rounds of 9 each. I should have set the Tournament up for 2 rounds (1st one front 9, second round Back 9) and never gave a thought to all the time constraints of the members (see #1 above) when I did it.
6) Entry Fee....I suggest that Tournaments be set up for a minimal amount of credits to enter (10 - 20 - 30)
I've found that the Tournaments that have a "low" entry fee attracts more members than one's that have a higher fee to join, especially in "All Tiered" Tournaments. Also, no pay Tournaments sometimes have numerous members joining or just a couple...flip of the coin. At our CC level we're allowed to have 12 free and 12 pay Tournaments going at once. See where we are in the amount of Tournaments there are but let's try to have 10 and 10 going at once. If we have all 24 set up there's no room for the Bracket Tournaments to be set up nor any other "Specialty" Tournaments, such as the "Starter Equipment" Tournaments.
OK, that about covers what I feel would be ideal to attract members to join and also finish any CC Tournaments that are set up. I beg all members to consider setting up CC Tournaments and do so anyway you see fit.....these are just things I've noticed since becoming the Tournament Directer and checking each Tournament daily. Once again, these are only my suggestions and not requirements to set them up........Have a great Sunday......Jim

When your average score is equal or smaller than 100 you go from Hack to Amateur.

As per my annual tradition . I have the day off . It is my birthday . For over 30 years . I have taken my birthday off from work . I feel that a persons birthday is the most legit holiday of the year . All the other holidays are either political or religious . Now if I can just get it paid too . Lol .

Twas almost the Night before the 12 days of Christmas Giveaway .
All the Country Clubs were ready, The gifts from the Pro shop were all under the tree And almost all the days were full . MrCaddie was burned out from all the silly PM,s and working so hard . He sat down in his chair and drifted off to sleep .
Thats when all hell broke loose ,
The Santas little helpers jimmyed the lock on the bar and started to drink all the good stuff ,They then hooked up the TV to the computer and started to download Elf porn .
A few of the Santas helpers drank too much then Tossed up Christmas cookies on the floor And one passed out with his head in the toilet .
Santas little helpers then found MrCaddies car key,s and went out on the town in a rampage ,They took turns driving to see who could run down the most mail boxes and do the best yard turfing .
After a bit of that they set his car on fire and pushed it into the lake at the Kiawah island course on hole # 17 .
As the Santas little helpers were stumbling back to MrCaddies house they saw that the WGT Police were knocking on his door and they all ran to the bushes to hide .
The WGT police Icon & Shoe could see all the empty bottles on the porch and in the yard and more in the house on the floor throu the window .
MrCaddie woke from his sleep and said to him self , Self just who the .... is at my door at this time of night ,
He got up from the chair but did not see that the helpers had taken his pants , He opened the door yelling " Just who the .... do you think you are .
The WGT police Icon & Shoe saw this man at the door with nothing on but his Tee shirt and could see that there was Elf porn on the TV . The Police did not ask but just clocked MrCaddie with a night stick and put him back to sleep .
MrCaddie woke up in a WGT jail cell with a very large man , That man then told him , Son your name is now Betty and you are now my Btch .
A few days latter Santas little helpers all got together and took some of the gifts to the pawn shop and used that money to pay MrCaddies bail .
When MrCaddie got out he went home in his orange jump suit to find the place trashed and his car was gone , He then said to him self ,, Self you know who did this , them little Bstards , I will get each and every one of you even if it takes me till Christmas in July .

I have become very interested in this new crop of players transitioning from Mobile to WGT.com .This group has become very skilled . Even with their tiering and averages all over the place .
This is the result of WGT not informing these newer Mobile players of the
BASICS FOR TIERING AND SATURATION .
No mention to them about ranked rounds . Or even that they can find information at WGT.com/forums .
It has created a huge disparity . These highly skilled players are starting to find this missing information that will allow them to lower their averages , tier up properly , and acquire better equipment .
Once all that starts leveling out . I foresee a huge presence of a new better generation of players . Probably take a few years .
You know how I keep saying that after each update , and even just down times without an update . That of course you add many features and codes and whatever , each time . I keep saying how noticeable it is . As it adds time to my

The opponent is highly likely to attempt anything he or she can to figure out why it keeps spinning . ( i think that is what they are seeing ? ) I wouldn't know I have never been on the other end / side .
This is a game changer . I cannot logically or reasonably continue to attempt these rounds . I will be coinless in no time . Even though WGT will reimburse some of them . Even that will take longer than it takes me to lose them . Buying coins is way outside my budget .

How do think the 500 plus " TRAILBLAZERS" would vote ? A group I duly recognized and paid tribute to in a way That I could truly show my appreciation for the influence so many had on not just myself . But thousands of others throughout WGT . I would likely get props from others that echoed my sentiments . The response from the trailblazers was overwhelming to me . As I received so many heart felt thanks .
In my efforts to ease the transition of posting in the forums . Which at one point the best a new poster could expect would be to be ignored . The worst or common response was to be ridiculed .
My 1st Poster trophy's were a way to welcome them in an accepting light .
And again . Providing them with a trophy . A trophy they likely would not otherwise receive in WGT .
How do you think the 1st posters would vote ?
Also recognizing various outstanding WGTers through out the years . Many appreciated that .
Even random players in thousands of MP rounds . That I would never remember their names . Nor them mine . If they did recognize me . I would get their vote . For simply breaking the ice . And getting them to laugh . In an otherwise depressing and forgettable round .
You know the .0001 % that I mentioned that are Champions ? There is an even smaller number . .00001 % of forum participants . If you got everyone of their votes You would still lose miserably . But even just a vote of only forum participants I think could not possibly vote in your favor . If they did ? Still a very small number .
Now let's talk about CC's . CC members . And CC's in which we played CC vs CC interplay matches with for years .
Those were some good times . And I having the experience and the ability to initiate and lead big events like that . Gained the friendship and respect for lifetimes from those excellent events .
Now the big one . As you may not know . I ran a successful and wonderful CC for over 6 years .
In that time I made many friends . No enemies . Maybe some on the fence . But otherwise all good . I have records of 780 WGT players passing through our CC . Quite a turnover right ? Lol . Yes it was . But no matter . Very few tensions . And very minor . It was all part of it .
Then there are the 175 WGTers who's WGT replays . I converted to youtube videos . Just in the knick of time before they became disabled . Then made available to them to be viewed forever . That made some people very happy .
I am still getting PM requests to see if I have any more .
Even in these forums . I have found many new associates . Players I respect . And respect me back as well .
So if you want to put it all on the table like you did with the game challenge ? Let me know . Think about it very hard . I don't want to see you go . Let's see if you can overpower your narcissism . And back off on me finally . Make a smart decision .
Forget about a vote . And live in peace .
Personally I really want you to stop . None of what you say is true about me . I don't care if you don't like me . But all of this obsession with false information . And no one wants to hear what I say . Is out of line . And getting old . You don't get any confirmation on what you post either . Other than a couple others with no life to be positive about either .
No one wants to hear your crap either . No one respects a person who's only goal is to demean others . Did you think you were gaining respect by trashing me all this time ? In your world . You think that is what should be done ? Do you think you are here to point those things out . That only exist in your mind ? Constantly negative and disrespectful . Insulting and hurtful ? Is this okay with your wife and kids ? Are you a good example to them ?
This is my last post here . There is no reason to continue . Thus ends probably the single most enjoyable and influential , also depressing and humiliating experience in my life to date .
The WGT Universe will carry on . I wish it and everyone the very best .

By now it's very easy and I don't plan on participating again now or ever .
I continue to just play Coin Rounds . Still the easiest format to get myself to the first tee .
Knowing my obsessions with saving various topics .
I have been able to save the match ups and score cards for over 1200 rounds .
There were several reasons I started saving them . Mostly to submit all the false forfeits and non started rounds and errors that were sucking up my entry fees . To be reimbursed for those . That is still why . But most of those don't have score cards . So I save every round . The legitimate wins and losses and the false forfeits . Just to have references to what happens in the individual coin games . Not saved anywhere else .
So any player that has played me could also look it up to see how it turned out . I may have missed a couple .

Well Mr genius . That is where you are wrong . I actually had 2 pages of messages from members from all over WGT . Wishing me the best . Many asking me to reconsider .
Some are names you see everyday . But most and I mean by a large majority . Would never be seen or heard in these volatile forums .
But you go ahead and take the bait . Believe these knowitalls . Follow them . Praise them . I will just say that they would not know truth if it hit them over the head . But they know that . It is all just a BS game for them . Very negative . An environment I can no longer accept .

I know they like to say that " Some just like to hear themselves spout dribble " or " just go on and on " . With nothing worthwhile to say .
Not at all true for me . Not even in the least bit . Almost any topic or subject that I respond to . Is for the benefit of some that may not have known or had not thought of it from that perspective .
In every case . I am trying to explain in more of a layman's perspective . Non technical but to the point manner .
With fully good intentions . To be helpful to those that wanted to know . Factual and described in my way . As an opinion of the facts of the topic . A different perspective than is generally presented . But indisputably true .
To listen to the normal crowd describe it .they would dispute it , discredit it , demean , etc .
Because that is what they do . Just like a comedian or a shock jock . Not necessarily believing what they say . Just knowing it gets the type of reaction they are looking for . That is exactly what their intentions are . Nothing else .
I have been dealing with that and defending myself and what I say for 10 years . Only because it needs to be said . Because most times it is not said . Or told from a different angle .
I wish it didn't need to be said . But either WGT dropped the ball on the topic . Or someone else is relaying it from one point of view and forgetting about another side of the issue . I fill in that blank .
I hate hen peck typing . I do not have the skills to be writing any manuals or books . I rarely reread what I was posting . Except to correct errors in the composition , or to go back and find a reference in it . I know it is not GR8 writing . But for all these years . I know that much of it has been helpful to many . Knowing that kept me driven .
Never did I want to confront my critics . Never have I felt any anger or hatred to any of those that oppose me . I'm just not like that . Not a hater in any way .
Until this last year . When a couple of new trolls entered the group . It is then that I really felt the hatred and resentment toward me . I had to stop and get away . So I did . Completely . For 4 whole months . It only took 10 whole days upon my return for the attacks to begin again . And from a new source again . And on top of that . They deny their intention . When it is plain as day written on the page . This BS immediately brought out the rest of the pack tn support . So that was the end of me . 10 days .
I issued a sincere apology . For an uncalled for statement in my post . Not unheard of when I make a mistake .
That's okay . I already know I don't care about this anymore . I will just play my coin rounds . Be good with that .

I've said this before but coin rooms are a built in sorter for skill and ability. as you go up in the rooms you start playing better and better people. and see less and less beginners to take advantage of.

Montreal is still a forward tee room. You have back tee gear and can't progress to the back tee coin rooms. you should ask yourself why that is.

Most months I finish top 10 in my Diamond 1 . I only know that by looking now and then . I have not pursued ranking in my league . With the exception of a couple months a year ago or so .
Once I get over this hump . The results will be clear .
This is the next round I played . Unfortunately because so many feel entitled to just quit when it is an obvious loss . My certain 3rd hole birdie never got to be played or recorded .pdb1

One more shot for each is not too much to ask . I feel it is an intentional way to show bad sporting . Knowingly disrupting the play . Especially when it is so close to a complete round .
I know that many do not agree . I play over a dozen dozen rounds per month . So I see a lot of them . Along with the supporters of it here in the forums . Although that thinking is still a small minority .

Plenty of TLs and Cs and TCs can't hang in Bellagio. And some Legends will do quite well.
Trust me. The room you play in tells me your skill level. For any tier, If anyone won't play Tokyo or Bellagio and they have level 9 and 10 apparel then they suck. They've put the coin room time in and they are held back because they keep losing when they try higher rooms.
Tier has been rendered meaningless by just about everyone gaming the system.

but it's pretty simple logic. if you have back tee gear. are above level 90 and have level 9 and 10 apparel. and your skill relegates you to only the rooms that are forward tees then you're bad. you have every advantage and still aren't on the back tees.
been doing coin rooms now for a year or so right? down to 500k after having 3.8 mill in coins.. i mean that means you are worse than 55-60% of the people in your room or so, we aren't talking top point whatever %.
as i said over and over and over. coin rooms sort skill.
Coin rooms clump everyone together randomly . Whether one strives for the back tees or not . Which most everyone does . And once a Legend . One has no choice anyway . Coin rooms are not a basis for anything other than what you as an elite group with no long term , long time , golfing 9 hole or 18 hole interest . Can see see past your own little group .pdb1

This is a 14 month log of my coin progression and the regression leading up to today . With this pattern I will be out of coins today or tomorrow .
When that happens . I will be done .
Paul, with only 480K coins left (as of 2 days ago), have you considered playing coin rooms with a lower entry fee, until you build your coin stack back up?
I'd also like to mention that if you log into WGT via Steam once a week, they will give you 10,000 coins each Monday for free. It's not much, but it can add up over time, and let you keep playing.

Of course I have. That is the long slow road that I took to get that 4 million coins. That may be what I'll end up doing.

I have skills . I am accurate . I am only 0.2/ft on a putt from many more wins .
In that case, I'd like to suggest maybe playing some rounds in Shanghai (9 holes / 50K entry fee). A 9-hole room might work more to your advantage in the long run than a 3-hole room like Montreal, especially with your skills and accuracy. I had called T-Mobile to order the new home WIFI they had been advertising . They said " Sorry but that is not available in your area yet . But we do have a new Franklin 10 Mobile WIFI hot spot for a reduced price , we can offer you . That you can run on your PC . While you are waiting for the new system to fill your area ". They said this hot spot is very fast .
I said okay send it to me . I hooked it up Sunday . I found that if I ran it through my realtek wifi adapter . It had a weak signal . So I deleted it off the adapter and let my Windows 10 set it up . And BANG WOW !!!
Talk about fast . Faster than my old Cox high speed hardwire ethernet wifi ever was . That I had lost and been missing since 2016 . ( demographics and unavailability ) ..
As far as any lag or delays or spinning . Nada , nothing , no more . In fact I barely have time to take a screen shot of the match up before the tee . Then store it . Takes 5 seconds . Come back and we're on the tee .
This is better than I could have imagined . Supposedly the new home system will be even better and faster .
On my smart TV . No Netflix lag or spin . Bam the movie is playing .
My website . OMG have I needed this . For 6 years after I lost the hardwire ethernet . I have been struggling there . No longer .
Even media uploads to the WGT forums are quick as a whip .
I plan on riding this high back up to millions of coins again . And why stop there ? Lol .
I also believe that this will allow me to play Alt shot , MP Stroke , and unlimited play rounds .( All of which I had brought me GR8 frustration causing me to stop playing them ) . Without the lag delays and early ended rounds and less or no errors . Lol . If that is even possible . I have heard it is by many . I'll just wait and see .

It is something I have suspected for a long time .

As usual I notice a discrepancy in the WGT H2H W & L count . Compared to my count . Happens every month . I always took the word of what I rerad in the Forums that they don't count the forfeits . And some other unfinished rounds . I just took it at that . Usually I have plenty of other things to do . Than look up every detail .
But this month I took a closer look .
It turns out that every time an opponent forfeits . Or ends the game early when you will see
unlike if you leave early when you will see
Or on the rare occasion that the game freezes and you are forced to withdraw .

But none of those 3 are happening here . Only the top one .
So get this . If either the top one or
Is the case . Not only do you not get the win . Nor does the round go uncounted .
But their loss gets recorded in your loss column .
No kidding .

I have several thousand scorecards . It appears that this has been the case for a very long time .But I am only going to look at April 2022 .

Ran out of tie dyes . But theres a hella more than a rat tail . Back in the day it was more than 3 times thicker . In fact in the early 70's I had a fro about 4 inches bigger than the guy on Room 222 ..

Of course he immediately quit . The correct way . But still ???
Still 90% of quitters don't use the withdrawal button . No they just leave the game . Causing
Maybe 2 of them . Then the forfeit screen . then game fail screen . Sometimes not even getting the achievement points . And definitely no scorecard .
The only time it saves is for the quitter , the forfeiter .
The victor , the winner , the victum has to wait a couple few minutes .
So yes . The loser does have a time cutting advantage . Being impatient , not finishing the round . Getting to his next loss much faster .
While the good sport pays in lots of extra time . So much that it often ends the sponsor time as a result .
So I ask ? How does leaving the game early for the loser . To quickly start another round ? Justify it or benefit the game by encouraging this type of non recommended actions ? Causing others game disrupting behavior . Causing long delays back to the game client .
Many are happy to cause the opponent mayhem . And could care less about the other player or how smoothly the game runs .
My 4 previous coin room HIO's ended with a quitter . With no scorecard to screen shot .

Montreal is still a forward tee room. You have back tee gear and can't progress to the back tee coin rooms. you should ask yourself why that is.

This and all the other BS analogies you have said about the level of players in certain rooms . Is not even realistic .
For instance Montreal averages about 40 players at all times . 20 of them are exceptional players . I am probably a 45% player there . That's enough to lose 100,000 at a time . It adds up quick . To say I'm not quite as good as 30 players in Montreal is still damn good .
Nowadays in Casablanca . Where there are consistantly over 400 Tour Champs , Champions , Tour Legends , Legends , and some very good middle tiers . There are few newbies or begginers there . The bulk of the kick ass coin players are playing in CasaBlanca . It is very competitive .Mythanatos:

Lol you are comparing 30 players that play in those rooms to thousands of TC's , C's , TL's , L's , etc . Trying to say that those 30 players are better than all 0f WGT . But they are an infinitesimal little group of specialists . That are completely insignificant in the count of thousands of elite high level WGTers . That if they had any interest in the coin rooms . They realistically would smoke you all clean out of the event .

That many still have a hybrid . When they could benefit more with a 3rd wedge and use their 9 iron in place of the hybrid .
Wedges are so amazing . Remember when Mickleson played Merion with 5 wedges ?
This is my example of a GR8 amount of wedge utilization .Note the different yardages with each type of shot .
There are 4 different wedges and 5 different shots = 20 different possibilities .
my full wedges 52 w = 115 yds , 56 w = 100 yds , 60 w = 80 yds , 64 w = 60 yds
my pitch wedges 52 w = 39 yds , 56 w = 33 yds , 60 w = 25 yds , 64 w = 17 yds
my chip wedges 52 w = 20 yds , 56 w = 16 yds , 60 w = 11 yds , 64 w = 7 yds
my punch wedges 52 w = 96 yds , 56 w = 84 yds , 60 w = 68 yds , 64 w = 50 yds
my flop wedges 52 w = 47 yds , 56 w = 38 yds , 60 w = 29 yds , 64 w = 20 yds .
my 52* wedge doesn't really work or make sense for me. 115 is too close to 9 i .
full = 115 yds , punch = 96 yds , flop = 47 yds , pitch = 39 yds , chip = 20 yds = ,
And having this variety helps with amazing accuracy .
Has it helped me ? Yes . I have a lot of good approach birdees , eagles , & holers .

They just quit , just like that . I can't believe how quick fingered some are . In May I had players forfeit 28 times . In June so far there have been 24 .
It is just plain sad that people got the idea that forfeiting in coin rooms was acceptable . It is not acceptable in sports or in life in general . It is not sporting , not polite , and in many cases not justified . As one may still have a chance to win . There is a lot to be said for the honor in doing ones best to complete any round . And in coin rooms , completing a 3 hole round is not too much to ask .
The selfish arguement to justify saving time to get more sponsor time for yourself . Is not practical in 3 hole play . One can usually comfortably get 3 complete matches in .

Sponsor rounds only cost 10 credits to 72 credits anyway .
If the opponent ends the match by closing out the program and not returning . The remaining player does not get the sponsor apparel rewards .
Nor does the winner get the win . And as I found out in April . All of the forfeits by the opponent all added 1 more L to my Loss column . APRIL SC's 2022 .
Or what about the thrill of trying to hit 3 eagles ? Or 2 eagles and a bird ? Or 1 eagle and 2 birds ? Or just 3 birds ?
Not going to happen with these forfeiters .

I recently accidentally click on a 9 hole Beverly Hills round . At first i freaked out . Thinking oh no I will only get 1 sponeor round . Then thinking why would I want to play a whole 9 holes that weren't even ranked ? I seriously considered forfeiting . But I could not . Playing a very good Tour Master ( claiming he has the # 1 spot in the Diamond 1 League with 200,000 at that time ).
It was a very good friendly and competitive round . At the end he won by 1
We both thoroughly enjoyed the round .
In another round recently . He was a guy from Phx . Originally from Maine . Things were going GR8 . We were tied going into the 3rd hole . His approach was out on the fringe . Mine wasn't GR8 at 5 yds from the hole . But he immediately forfeited . WHAT ? He could have made his chip shot or gotten close . I could have missed my 5 yard putt ( good bet I would have missed ) . And at the very least tied . But we will never know . And the friendly guy from my hometown . Wasn't so friendly after all .
IDK what the answrs are ? These rounds aren't supposed to be about the W's or L's . Some fight for placing in the Diamond leagues . Some just want to play as fast as they can . If you use more than 20 seconds on the 45 second clock . They tell you they don't have all day . Lol .
I play to play . That's all . To play the courses , the holes , the very competitive players in the Coin Rooms . To meet new players from around the world . I play to learn . I play to finish the round . Mostly 3 holes . I expect the same from my opponent . Yes I expect that .
Since technically they are not really " speed rounds " . I think they could find a way to make them count . As ranked rounds . If only in the 9 holers .
9 holes is a lot of time and effort to not count for anything . But I am sure that would gain a lot of interest .
It would no doubt be difficult to incorporate in the format as it is . But they could be a new kind of Coin Room .
Actual ranked Coin Play . 9 or 18 holes ( 9 holes counting double to equal an 18 hole round of course as it already is .now in ranked rounds .
No special algorythm . Just the regular algorythm And just the stats . Lowering ones average with better lower scores . Moving up in tier by saturating and improving from there . Doing so enabling access to better equipment . DUH .
Such a popular lacking format . It should be a crime . And you're busted WGT . Put in the work . And we'll consider probation . I'm not even laughing right now .
For me , it can and often is enjoyable to play a match where I lose . Like the one below . And many others .
But I also win many . Barely . But I win a hellalot more than I lose . But it doen't matter . 3 holes are a fun but unsatisfying way to keep playing the game .
If 9 holes were ranked . That would be a different story
Win or lose . Matches should be played to completion . Especially 3 hole rounds . IMSO

Since basically Jan 1 2021 I stopped playing Ranked Rounds .
Playing exclusively coin games since . Admittedly most of that decision was based on the fact that I could not get a game going in CREATE A GAME or JOIN A GAME . On account of my very poor internet .
For a couple months now I have again enjoyed high speed internet .
Now I can get a game in any mode . Easily .
I have played a few coin games . Upwards toward 5000 of them .
Starting today July 1 2022 . I am going to stop playing coin games . It is not because I don't enjoy them . I really do . But I feel like there is no real gain . Just coins . I keep gaining in coins . That's it just coins .
With good internet . I can play Ranked Rounds again . Where there is a lot to be gained . Lower average , higher tiers , various statistics , bettering my game , etc .
We'll see how that goes . .
For about the umteenth time in 10 years I have surpassed 100 CDP . Lol . A couple times to 120 CDP . and once to 140 something .pdb1

Each time it is only a matter of a few hours up to nearly 24 hours that stopped the streak .
Back about 4 or 5 years ago when they figured out they could restore a players CDP's . I had them do it a couple few times . But I haven't asked the last 10 times or so it has happened . Not a thing for me .
So I say " cheers " each time I pass 100 CDP's .

I was always suspicious of their W & L count anyway . So in April when I saw a huge discrepancy in what I had counted as wins & losses .pdb1

I decided to keep track .
What I came up with is shocking . I screen shot all of my rounds . The beginning match up photo . And the Score card . And usually the forfeit screen as well .
I label all with a W or an L .
Now I already knew that they don't count the forfeits . But what I found out was that no matter if I forfeited ( which I never do ) or the other player forfeits ( which I have all the screen shots for ) . The forfeited round always goes in my loss column .
That is how I came up with these numbers .
WGT's count for April is :
My count is
125 - W 77 - L
The only way I can see that happening is to take all the rounds that the opponent forfeited and not only not give me the win . But put that round in my loss column .
Even if I am not able to count the extra wins . How do they justify the extra losses ?
I have all of the roundsAPRIL SC's 2022
When I contacted member services they said they would look into it . I have asked for follow ups . I've not heard anything .

No long rant here . Although more need to get informed . It would take pages and pages for the real facts and devistation and scientific evidence that is Global Climate Change . But rather than discount it all as fake . Do a little research yourselves regarding the quickly depleting water tables , reservoirs , lakes and streams and rivers . In each and every State in the United States . Some are much worse than others .
Since most people have their heads in the sand . They will not voluntarily agree to conserve water on mass levels . Before it is too late . And either we run out of water for anything but consumption ( banning irrigation and the watering of lawns , football feilds , soccer feilds , golf courses , baseball feilds ) . Or God forbid . The Government will have to demand compliance . Despite what you believe . Not even Democrats want the Government telling us what to do .
Just the water decline worldwide is is on a path to catastrophic perportions .
Not to mention increased severe wildfires

Toxic polluted air

There is factual data for all of this and much more . Our complacency will assure horrific conditions for our children and their children . Although most of us will die before it gets too bad . We are guarranteeing the suffering of the next generations .

We might not see it all in our life time but it certainly is having severe effects in our lifetime !

I've for a very long time was the skeptic and thought everyone had washed their minds but since I had had a license from the EPA for refrigerant or more commonly known free on handling unhandling for my trade which is heating memory keeping ventilating air conditioning and refrigeration and refrigeration I can tell you 1st hand global warming and the depletion of the ozone is in fact real.

- Go to the most drought ridden state and take a look at government buildings and their lawns then tell me how much they care about this.

I have no issue with someone forfeiting, as long as done correctly.
Forfeiting is an improper way to end many games . If not all .

What I do have a problem with is the game locking when a player just exits improperly.
This is the main reason why The " player " should not forfeit . Too big of a risk that the program will crash in one way or another .Always do whatever one can to stay until the end of the round . I mean " Come On " we are talking exclusively about 3 hole rounds .
Very few " good sports " will exit the game . Even fewer of them will exit properly .
Therefore a major majority of quitters in this game . Do so with the intentions of causing as much turmoil as possible . Intentionally
Hoping that the system and WGT do not recover from their actions . With even less regard for their opponent .
So let's not put the malice of these cry baby quitters on WGT unfairly and unnecessarily .
They can control very little of what goes wrong maliciously .
I think it is more important to drive some sense into these immature , short fused , whiney assed , entitled , excuse for a grown men & women quitters ( because they both do it ) . To grow the FCK UP . Or stay away from anything that runs on power or a battery . IMSO .
With all the data available in the " Time Stamp " . I know for a fact that they can see exactly which opponent QUIT the game . And how they did it .
Wgt has this knowledge of God knows how many players that constantly disrupt their rounds . Over and over . They do nothing because of the potential revenue .
If it were my site . These obsessive repeating degenerates would get 1 written warning . And then they would be gone . BANNED .

These alacrity killers are doing more damage than one would suspect .
As has happened with the various multi media programs here in WGT . The massive amount of abuse and improper manipulations by thousands of clueless users .
And without ANY cleaning , clearing , deleting , defragmenting , etc , EVER . The systems are corrupting badly from the inside out .
This cannot be denied .
Similar damage is occurring in the game program . On the premise that protecting all users . Active or not . Game quitters or not . They are protecting potential revenue .
By allowing the constant crashing of the game by so many violent predators . This too is slowly corrupting the game from the inside out .

I know for a fact
Is because I personally reported accompanied with screen shots . Over 100 of these disruptive players .
After reveiwing each one . One at a time . And confirming my claims . WGT refunded me over 2,278,000 COINS .
So besides the damage to the program . And the ever withering reputation of WGT . My 2,278,000 COINS . The thousands of other players that these degenerate players have pissed off and stolen their money . WGT is also suffering GR8 losses from their continued ignorance .
What if half of the rest of you reported each culprit with a screen shot like I did ?
BTW these were all entry fees , returned to me . 10,000 coins at a time .
And were forced to reimburse all of your lost entry fees to you all like they did me . How long would they be able to justify allowing these quitters to continue to play the game ?
Not long . Negative revenuie has a way of creating action .One way or another .
Even though they are " only coins " . Spinning ones wheels and or moving backwards is not a viable direction for any company . While allowing the game to continue its complacent policies in every aspect of the game and management . Is not a good look .

The winning player's name from the 1st pair should go into the first box for round 2, and the winning player's name from the 2nd pair should go into the second box for round 2, not as it is in the screenshot.
This is yet another bug that has been here since the introduction of the PCEA version.

It is not a bug . Obviously and more than likely The player " M " ( above ) had a lower score than any of the other 3 . He would then lead the next round of the bracket . This is not a bug . It is automated bracket scoring .
In the bracket below . I obviously lead that group . Player " S " had the lowest score in the lower bracket .
Don't play them til they fix it.

This is concerning the WGT Main Forum Automated Email Reply system .
Rather than the issue being , not receiving any emails . As happens periodically .
This last time my receiving emails was restored . Oct 13 2022 . I got more than I bargained for . I now receive .
A) Every email coming out of the Forums
B) Every CC Corner thread from all the CC's that have a active thread .( never had that before )
C) Every new post from every Forum . ( never had that before ) .
D) Forum posts I have replied in . ( default normal ) . And should be the only emails I receive .
F) There seems to be a consistent rotating resending of the 2- B & C Automated replies . As they continually post . When I open them . There is not a new post . Yes , no kidding .
Of course I have checked many of the CC Corner posts . Found in every one that I had not ever posted in them . The
Is not ticked in any of them .
As is the case with posts that I have responded in . From my 1st post in a thread . All the way to the end . The
Is not ticked .
Upon suggestion . I went to the Sorting and Filtering section ( for the first time ) and found it all to be normal .
I then decided to mark in the " send email " block " NEVER " . There was no change at all . So I now know that function does not work .
Of course every detail of this has been submitted . I get the weirdest responses

There are dozens of topics on tiering and averages in the Forums . But most are about the Flash era .
Basically this is my short take on it .
In short . Long before the inception of PCEA in 2021 . WGT in their infinite wisdom . Decided to implement a new algorithm for the then predominately Mobile Coin Players . ( Coin rooms now predominately everyone ) .
This new algorithm is based on God knows what ? WGT is not sharing as usual . Something to do with the number of Coin games played & other mysterious actions . To base the what looks like random tiering up of these many players that do not play ranked rounds and are exempt from established WGT protocol . The protocol that took and is still taking the real WGTers half of a lifetime to progress .
Is it fair ? No .
Does it make any sense ? No .
Will they do something about it ? No .
Do we have to put up with it ? No . You can quit and never play this awesome game again . As many thousands have done already . .
Definition of half a lifetime in WGT.
If one started playing in their late teens or early 20's . And are now 30 something . And are still trying to reach the upper tiers . That is considered half a lifetime .
For me starting at 52 and now 63 and still a Legend . That is only 20% of my lifetime . LUCKY ME WOO HOO !

- It would nice to have the ability to send instant messages to players. For example, I'll get a invite to play from a friend when I'm finishing up the 7th hole with my current group. It would nice to be able to say "hey, gimme 10 minutes and we can play."

Good idea. I mentioned this, I think in an email, to WGT. It should be at The 19th Hole where you can just enter the chat room and/or go there after a round to discuss the round just played with your opponent(s). Also the 19th hole could display current tournaments and standings and also be a store for WGT items and golf items in general.PeteBolte

That's so funny Pete. I was thinking the same thing. That it would be complete if they could serve up a cold beer. I know some golfers that play golf just so they can go have a beer afterwards and talk about golf.

It is now 2014 and wgt have not listened to there customers yet.
Imo, it would be nice to have, maybe a lobby or bar area where we can chat openly with our friends with out starting a game.
I know of some players who have given up playing wgt because of this problem.

There began .

Club house meeting # 1 .
DENNY's .
2 hour morning breakfast . Full of happy converation . Awesome reminiscing . Joking .
Like I first suggested meeting at Dunkin Donuts . But then I realized he probably just came from there . Lol . Cop joke .
We then spent some time praising the good guys and blasting the bad guys .
All while eating a hearty breakfast and drinking coffee .
Amazing the rapport we shared .
Henry is a straight up , stand up , wonderful person . Respectful , polite , honest and even modest , for real .
So happy we followed through and met up .
We really had a good morning .

I've always known that staying out of a CC would likely make it near to impossible to play enough default courses to lower my average to make TL .pdb1

For the last 6 years . I have basically just spun my wheels . My average hasn't moved at all .
The first 5 of those years . There was no point in even trying . On account that I had a terrible wifi connection . Several different terrible wifi providers . Satellite , mobile services , little device wifi's . It all sucked . I could barely get on and finish a round . Much less play any MP .
I had much better luck with 3 hole Coin rounds . Still 1/3rd failed rounds . But 2/3rds success was pretty good . I'll take it . PCEA was in full swing . So I played a good amount of Coin rounds and got my playing itch scratched .
I didn't give up altogether on the default Single Player Unlimited Play Stroke Play rounds .
But almost . There was something about this new PCEA that just felt too labored . I wasn't improving there . I chalked it up as the wifi's fault . So I didn't play them much .
About 9 months ago . June 2022 . I finally acquired high speed ethernet again . After a 6 year absence from it . It became available in my area .
No more spinning rounds or disconnects . MP is smooth as a babies ass .Error codes and gliches are only seen in Showdowns . And caused soley by opponents .
I certainly cannot afford a Gaming computer . Not going to even think about that .
Play in the default mode is good . Except my scores . I was now able to see how similar PCEA is to flash in game play . Somehow doable .
But still a lot was different . Mostly me . I no longer have that encouraging drive that always pushed me to play more knowing I would improve and soon get to TL .
Totally lost that . Don't know if I even care to anymore .
I also almost feel like a beginner playing in the stroke play PCEA mode .
But not . Inside I know that it is mostly my putting skills that even before had been a problem . I've tried just about everything except a good way to count dots .
I also keep reminding myself that I definitely could get better scores in a CC with more enjoyable tourneys . Not necessareily red tees . But easier tees and wind speeds etc .
Recently I glanced at a couple Legends score history's . I saw literally hundreds of 27's , 28's , 29's , 30's . And they were still Legends .
Felt like I got punched in the gut . Realizing the amount of work I still needed to do . UGH ! Lol .
So that's where I be .
Even that was exhausting . Lol .

I play a lot of coin room games and have also seen these disconnect type popup messages. All the while I thought it was the other player who disconnected on purpose. Never imagined that their computer specs (lack of high end ones) could be the cause.
Now I'm thinking of upgrading my PC if it helps to play this game. Would a gamer type PC stop the swing meter from "skipping"? That is what causes me a lot of headache here.
I am not saying that will fix all issues .
It could only help .
I think you can stop short of a gaming computer . That's up to you .
Your computer , your internet quality . Are big factors in reducing many of these interuptions .
I've had this for a while and am in no hurry to get another . Fairly basic but I have no problems like I had with much lesser models .
Quad core .
Should have a good Display adapter .
And the top realtech wifi adapter .If you don't have ethernet .
And a good wired mouse . Cordless are okay . Until they are not .
That's all the advice I can be sure of .
I am sure there are many opinions on this .
I do not know if or how much a gaming computer would help . I would think a lot . Maybe someone will let us know ?Lesthanpar:
Meter jumps, skips, or just being inconsistent can be caused by a lot of different things. In my opinion the meter speed does vary and that is just part of the game, but a jump or skip is something on your end. If you have things on your pc like an automatic update for windows for example or something like that set up, if that kicks in just as you are swinging it will cause the meter to go erratic. The better pc you have obviously the better, but you do need to be aware of what your pc is running in the background during game play and how it may affect the meter.

the game runs/works fine on a phone or tablet...You don't need a gaming computer for this.
I have seen some glitches that appear to be a hardware issue- I had an old video card that would lock up in change apparel screens. Newer hardware is probably better but if you don't play other games, almost any PC will play this game fine.

I did mean to suggest computers short of Gaming computers . Just more up to date with more ram , good display adapter . That is what I meant by high end . For us .
I know from when I had VOTSCC there are many that come and go with lacking computers . And many stay and struggle .And many are out there that need to know that it can be better without a gaming computer . But it is still an investment that might be a little bit of a burden .
There is a world of difference between what I have now ( above ) . And what I used to struggle with . Big difference .
I also did not mean to put the causes of the error codes on just my opponents . I only blame the unfinished rounds that gave me a false forfeit on them .
It may not have even been them . My feeling is that some of it was quitters and some of it was the game . But those were the only ones I reported .
My unstable wifi at the time was responsible for almost every other problem .
That's not taking the heat off of WGT for however these all to sensitive glitches are a part of it as well .
I may have got my entry fees back . Which is good . But all of those rounds remained as forfeits . That is what needs fixing . To prevent that in the future . Which is related if not the same thing that are now being called as intentional cheating .pdb1

What you said about the game crashing is exactly what happens . If he or anyone tries to manipulate ( whatever that means )?They will not be successful . The game will crash .
There are other threads that are claiming that games are being manipulated to get wins .
Manipulation is not even possible . If attempted . The game will crash . No one gets the win .
Just because one is told that they falsely forfeited . That doesn't guarrantee that the opponent didn't get the same message . I'm not positive the opponent got the win .Are you ?
Sometimes they have an error code for that .

But these are rare and not even true . The top one , I didn't forfeit . The second one . I would have continued if it let me .
But I don't care about that . The fact that it can happen is the point . In the meantime I will get my entry fee back on every one of those .

By the way craig . That is pretty AMAZING . I can't get off the tee much less find the fairway with starter balls .

It has proved to be very useful . As a place to refer to and store a GR8 many relevant links and tributes . A place to sample edit various graphics and posts . A reference to some of my history and some others as well . And if I choose , a daily comment as well .
Although this doesn't always work . A place to retreat from negativity .
I still play every day , Although I cannot seem to string more that 50 or 100 days consecutively .

The Valley of the SUN Casual Club CC WGT CC is no longer a WGT CC .
Paul - have you considered starting up a new iteration of the Valley of the SUN Casual Club CC?
I can see several benefits to your doing that. First of all, even if you were the only member, you'd be able to have your daily XP go toward reaching Level 2 (free Putter Pal) and Level 4 (free Shot Pal). I don't think reaching those levels would take you that long. Second, having an actual CC would seem to justify having an active thread here in Country Club Corner with that name.
Just some food for thought.

When Henry Kawa and I met up at my local Denny's . In person , wet met for breakfast . And had a wonderful 2 hours of conversation .
It was such a rush . He is a hellofaguy . So much more real than I could have guessed .
A true gentleman .
Look forward to repeating these visits in years to come .

Yes in fact I did create VOTSCC . A couple years ago . I then deleted it not too long after . I don't remember the exact reasons . But it had something to do with being moderated .

Lol . You're funny . I already have justification . Not that it matters .
If you look through these forums . A very large % of topics are not in the corresponding forum . Why start now ?
But to answer you . There are many reasons . Not the least of which is the wind has been taken from my sails . Which also leads me not give a damn .
The shot pal and putter pal's are taken care of . Strangely and wonderfully forever now . There are players that , some known and some not . Have been sure to keep me supplied . Once every other blue moon I'll run out and reup .
Much appreciation for that .
IDK Sam . There are definitely benefits to owning and running a CC . It is a responsibility , commitment , and mindset . That , I definitely know . But am not allowing myself to go there .
I am better suited now for the benefits as a member . I think .

The Famous Paul (pdb1) and me (Henry Kawa) also known as the best WGT Player of all time met in person in Phoenix AZ. We went for a nice breakfast and talked about many WGT events from the past, present and future. Never a dull moment in the entire 2 hour meeting. Thank you Paul. Turns out you are an outstanding, honest and caring person. It was my honor to meet you in person after knowing you for the last 10 or so years in the Forums and speaking many times on WGT. Can't wait until we meet again next year.
Henry Kawa (by the way - I am not the best player of all time. lol).
Very unusual to play 4 - 3 hole rounds in a sponsor session . But thanks to a couple quick quitters today . I played 4 . pdb1

The sad part was this poor guy here . The final putt on the 3rd hole . I had already missed . I typed
gg thx w p .
He was up 10 - 11 . He had a 3footer .
He froze up on the first timeout . I think . Because he didn't DQ on the second time out .
It restarted . He was gone . Gave him a forfeit . If he would have been able to putt he had the round won . But in this case I think he couldn't stay connected . He had a small lag on each hole . But there is no way to tell if the connection failed on his end or on the game itself .

I don't handle it . It is an unhandleable reality .
And unfortunately it is real .
It is no problem for me to take it with a grain of salt . To shine it on . To not be bullied/baited into negative actions or replies .
I am too numb to it .
Probably why I don't walk away .
Wow it is something though . Admittedly even humorous in a sick/sad way .

It also can be just as cool . Running into an old CC mate in an MP round . Can be a joyous reunion as well .

I keep mentioning how rare it is to play the same player twice .
It is even more rare to run into old mates .
This I can say from many thousands of Multiplayer rounds over the last 10 years .
You will see some nasty and offensive ones . Many ask why I don't turn them in ? It's just not who I am . Doesn't bother me or effect my game .MEMORABLE CHATS
Well last evening I had the rare and exciting chance to play an ex VOTSCC mate . I tried to screen shot the chat between us . I got most of it .

Well that was a swing and a miss . I appeared to have barely nicked it . It was somehow my bad .
I just laughed and played through . It was a free tourney anyway .
I think that was a first time being charged for the full yardage of the hole for me .Especially on the first hole . Lol .
I have played some 20,000 to 30,000 Blitz a CTTh's in 12 years .
To me it was rare and funny . Not ashamed . Not complaining . Just took note of it .

Sometimes the ball goes 2 feet and it saves time waiting on the ball rolling onto green and stopping .
I usually manage a score in the thousands away from hole after 9 holes .
Should make a tournament on this . highest score wins .
I have seen games on the best of water holes where you need to splash water on every hole to win .-

I hadn't posted in it much . But on June 2nd 2023 .
The same people mentioned above . Banned me for life from the forums .
